It's kind of like a wax-like cream, you know. When applied as the final step of a skincare routine, it gives a coating-like feeling to the skin. So while it may look powdery on the outside, the inner moisturization remains intact. This is just my personal impression, haha. I have combination skin and often experience skin troubles, but I've been using this product for 5 years now and I'm very satisfied with it. :)

If it's stored in a place with high temperature, the cream can become liquefied... In other words, the cream components and water can separate, creating this strange phenomenon. It's similar to how nail polish separates when left for a long time. I'm not sure what this is exactly, ugh.

Pros
Glides on beautifully, 100 points for moisturization, 80 points for absorption. This is the most satisfying and longest-used moisturizer I've ever tried. I'm on my third jar. When I apply this and then put on foundation, there's no emphasizing of dry patches and it goes on smoothly and moisturized!
Cons
Doesn't leave a deeply hydrated feeling. Depending on where you purchase it, the price can vary greatly.
