I have about a 23 shade skin tone, and it doesn't brighten my skin but just covers blemishes. Also, since I have oily skin, the makeup stays on well. I recommend making your first purchase offline at a department store where you can get color recommendations and try it on. As you can see in the photo, it looks natural without brightening the skin.
ConsThere's nothing particularly bad, but you need a solid skincare routine for it to apply well. Not recommended for dry skin. Oh, and this one can look a bit awkward without contouring. Also not recommended for those who prefer a fresh, pure look.
TipEstablish a solid skincare routine

My skin tone is around 22-23, not too dark. I used to use Sand, but it seemed too bright, so I tried the Natural Swayde shade once and it matches my face color perfectly and looks very natural!! My skin is severely dry in the winter, but using this product with a damp puff, it doesn't dry out at all. I use this product all year round, in both summer and winter.
ConsNot really any downsides, but the transparent lid does show dirt easily.

I didn't like the idea of having a different color on my face and neck, so I was looking for a cover that would match my skin tone perfectly, and this color was an excellent choice. When I dab it on the back of my hand and apply it with a brush, it does leave a slightly darker mark, but on my face, it looks completely natural. And it covers the redness really well. I'm so happy with it! And absolutely, use a brush!!! I used to just dab it on with my fingers before, even with other shades of Double Wear. Looking back, that was such a waste. I've tried flat brushes and short, blunt brushes, and the blunt one worked better for me. I've used the Peripera flat brush and the Aritaum puff brush, and the puff brush applied it more smoothly and evenly.
ConsThe downside, which is also an upside, is that it adheres really well. It's great on the face, but if you need to wipe off the excess on your hands, cleansing water is a must. Even washing with water and soap doesn't remove it completely.
TipDefinitely use a brush... You'll discover a whole new world!
