  I tried this product again after using it when it first came out, and it seems they keep improving it through renewals. The wide, narrow opening makes it easy to squeeze out just the right amount where you want it. Despite being called an eye cream, I was surprised by how hydrating and moisturizing it felt, more than I expected. When applying, you can feel both the oil and moisture, but once it's fully absorbed, it leaves a thin, protective layer on the skin. I liked that it didn't leave much residue.

  Cons

  The fragrance was a bit strong for me - it has that distinct cosmetic scent with floral notes. I could smell it on my hands even after application. Also, while it's fine to apply a thin layer like a regular cream, it felt quite heavy if I tried to layer it or use it for massage as they demonstrate on home shopping channels. The rich texture can be a bit much if you overdo it.

  Cons

  For some reason, it stings my eyes a bit. I'm not sure if it's because I've had LASIK surgery, but it makes me hesitant to use it during the day. I prefer applying it at night before sleep.

  Personally, I've noticed that with each renewal of AHC eye creams, they alternate between a lighter texture one season and a more moisturizing, slightly thicker consistency the next. This variation in feel depending on the season makes it a bit challenging to decide which formulation I'm getting when I can only see it on a home shopping channel. Despite this, I think the overall quality of the products is quite good!
