As a woman in my early 30s with an oily scalp, I'm always on the lookout for a shampoo with excellent cleansing effectiveness and a clean feel. This one definitely fits the bill! [Ingredients] It contains zinc PCA, which helps with dead skin cells on the scalp, and caffeine - a key functional ingredient from Plantur. It also includes niacinamide and green tea extract, which aid in scalp recovery. [Texture] I love the clear gel formula without unnecessary colorants - it feels so clean! A little goes a long way, creating rich, abundant lather. After rinsing, it leaves my scalp feeling refreshed and thoroughly cleansed, effectively removing excess oil and dead skin cells. [Scent] There's a delightful blend of zesty citrus and herbal notes. The fragrance isn't overpowering and lingers subtly as you dry your hair. [Packaging] The one-touch cap makes it super convenient to use. I appreciate the slim bottle design that doesn't take up much space in the shower. It's eco-friendly too, with reduced plastic use and no unnecessary plastic wrapping on the box. [Overall] With its trustworthy ingredients and excellent performance, this shampoo is perfect for daily use. It's ideal for those seeking a shampoo that leaves your hair and scalp feeling clean and refreshed. I'd highly recommend this to women dealing with oily scalp issues or concerns about hair loss. It works hard to address these problems while being gentle on your hair and scalp. Honestly, I didn't find much to complain about. It worked well for me without any issues. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinMar 22, 2021
I decided to try the shampoo while purchasing the tonic. The texture is on the thinner side. I was disappointed that it didn't lather up very well and it lacked any fragrance. Probably won't repurchase... - Hwahae UserOily SkinDec 22, 2020
I'm definitely losing less hair now. There's hardly any tangling when I shampoo, which is great. While I'm certainly shedding less hair, I've just discovered it contains some harmful ingredients. I'm torn about whether to continue using it. - ha***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDec 11, 2020
My hair condition: Fine hair texture, moderate hair loss, slight damage from perms, and limp hair. Ingredients: I was surprised when I checked the ingredients on Hwahae. Hair loss: After washing, I definitely noticed fewer fallen hairs. However, during the time I used almost a whole bottle, I didn't see any effect of my hair becoming thicker. Scent: Even those sensitive to fragrances should be able to use this without issues. The scent isn't strong during use, and there's no lingering fragrance afterward. Stiffness: I always use conditioner, so I didn't experience any discomfort from stiffness. But compared to other shampoos I've used, it's not a product you can expect to make your hair particularly soft. Volume: Honestly, the volume was the aspect I liked most about this product. My hair is thin and long, so I've always been concerned about volume. After showering and blow-drying, there's a noticeable increase in volume at the roots. Given that the ingredients seem quite risky, I probably won't repurchase this product! I usually brush my teeth while the shampoo lather sits in my hair. But with this product, after seeing the ingredients, I rinse it out immediately. - sb*****Dry SkinMar 24, 2020
Rich lather and gentle feel to the shampoo. It's marketed for colored hair, but I'm not sure about its effectiveness. Left my hair feeling stiff, and the ingredients aren't great. It's really just a shampoo for temporary use after coloring. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 21, 2019
I've been using this for nearly a year and just found out there were issues with the ingredients. It lathers well and did help relieve my itching. It's decent, except the price is a bit steep for the amount you get. It's a few thousand won more expensive than when I bought it in Germany. - hu*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinFeb 27, 2019
I don't know if it's just a placebo effect, but I feel like my hair has become thicker. There's a major drawback - it significantly intensifies scalp odor. You know that smell at the crown of your head? It's awful. If you have oily hair, using this could be disastrous. So I used it together with a hair vinegar rinse... It's supposed to help with the scalp odor... I think it might have improved the situation a bit. - ol*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 2, 2018
I first tried this shampoo in Germany and absolutely loved it, so I was thrilled to find it on Coupang in Korea. The shampoo has a gentle feel overall and a pleasant scent. It leaves my hair soft even without conditioner and seems to help with hair loss. My scalp feels clean and refreshed without any irritation. I was shocked to see the harmful ingredients listed on Hwahae. I stocked up on six bottles to save on shipping, and now I'm stuck with them... - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 8, 2018
I bought and used this in Germany, and it definitely reduced hair loss. The scent is similar to green tea. It's unfortunate that it contains some unfavorable ingredients. It seems the product isn't easily available in Korea. I don't have any special tips, but it seems to be a good product. - op******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 8, 2018
I've tried this shampoo, and I immediately noticed less hair fall. I originally bought it from a German drugstore, thinking it wasn't available in Korea, but surprisingly it is! It seems quite different from those unproven anti-hair loss shampoos that are all marketing hype. A little goes a long way too. The stiffness in the hair is likely due to the absence of harmful ingredients, which I consider a positive aspect.
