  Pros

  It brightens your complexion when applied. The next morning, your skin looks radiant until you wash your face.

  Cons

  It doesn't seem to cause more blemishes. However, it doesn't make existing ones disappear either. I'm still unsure whether to apply it all over the face or use it as a spot treatment.

  Pros

  The soothing effect is fantastic! And it definitely fades blemish scars!!! I'm on my second bottle now, having purchased it on a friend's recommendation. At first, I was a bit disappointed, perhaps because I expected too dramatic results. But when I compare it to not using it, there's a clear difference. It's especially effective when you're dealing with a major breakout, or when your face is all red and irritated after squeezing pimples! If I sleep without applying it, yesterday's pimples tend to get bigger, and the areas I squeezed look angry and scarred. But when I slather it on before bed, I can feel the calming effect the next morning. While it doesn't completely erase old acne scars, I've noticed they've faded significantly with consistent use. I realized one day that I wasn't even paying attention to them anymore! Also, when applied in a thin layer, it has a nice brightening effect!

  Cons

  The absorption isn't great... but I've found a solution for that too!

  Tip

  You might already know this, but I'll share it anyway! I mix it with a cream that has good absorption! This makes it creamier and prevents pilling or patchy application. You get a natural brightening effect + soothing action + scar fading benefits all in one! I have oily skin and hate anything sticky or oily, but I've found that mixing it with Innisfree's new Superfood line Blueberry Cream creates amazing synergy. This cream absorbs too quickly to use alone, but its rapid absorption actually works in its favor when mixed with the Cicla cream. It seems to absorb faster, and feels like it's really clinging to my skin? Somehow, it makes my skin look even better. I just applied this combo and my skin feels so fresh and nice, I had to leave this glowing review!!
