When applied to dry skin, they provide just the right balance of hydration and richness.
ConsHowever, they can be hard to find. Occasionally, when they're on sale, the prices are good.

ConsWhile it's not comparable to a cream formulation, I felt it took a bit of time to fully absorb into the skin. Perhaps I noticed this because the product I was using just before was an emulsion that would drip when dispensed into my hand. Nevertheless, once it's completely absorbed, it feels clean on the skin.

The hydration it provides is more than sufficient.
ConsIt's a bit inconvenient that the cream tends to get on the lid. Also, it's not widely available in many stores. Other than that, no complaints.

It offers medium to high moisturization. Compared to the Bioderma Intensive Balm I used before, this is less heavy and absorbs better. It comes in a 200ml tube and a 400ml pump bottle. The tube version on the official website is fragrance-free, while the pump version sold at Olive Young has a subtle powdery scent due to the shea butter, which I personally find satisfying. If you prefer unscented products, I'd recommend getting the tube version from the official website.
ConsLa Roche-Posay doesn't offer significant discounts, so it can't be considered budget-friendly. It's disappointing that the 200ml and 400ml versions aren't sold simultaneously in offline stores, making it impossible to try before buying the full size.

ConsIt might be because I applied it to my face, but after some time it starts to pill and little balls form on the skin :( It would have been perfect if not for this... such a shame.. (Could have been due to applying too much)
TipThought it would be good to use before makeup → Never mind..

Doesn't cause any allergic reactions and is quite gentle on the skin. 2. Provides a decent level of hydration. It has a slightly thick but easily spreadable matte milk texture that feels moist and absorbs quickly. 3. Recommended for those who prefer a mild moisturizer with adequate hydration that clings to the body, and for those who need less oiliness.
Cons1. Among all the body creams I've used, the only memorable feature is its overwhelmingly strong powder scent, which can cause nausea. I'm not usually sensitive to fragrances, but this one is intensely potent every time I apply it, sometimes causing dizziness. 2. While it does have a sinking-in feeling when applied, in my opinion, the moisturizing power is below average, lasting power is low, skin soothing effect is poor to below average, and it can cause a slight burning sensation on sensitive or irritated areas. 3. It seems to focus on being 'inoffensive', which might suit those looking for a mild daily body cream. However, for those seeking significant moisture, skin softening, clear soothing effects, and relief from various dry skin conditions, eczema, or hives, I wouldn't strongly recommend this as the best option. 4. Recently, when I ran out of my usual body cream, I reluctantly used a NiveaX Intensive Body Emulsion that was lying around unused. Surprisingly, despite the different texture (NiveaX being less thick and easier to squeeze out), the moisturizing power was similar, but with much less fragrance and irritation. It also had better softening effects and longer-lasting hydration. As someone with extremely sensitive and typically dry to very dry skin, I usually avoid Johnson's, Neutrogena, or CetaphilX-like emulsions, preferring cosmeceutical brands. However, experiences like this remind me why well-known, long-established brands have their reputation. Even though my skin condition has improved from extremely dry, and I can now use products with moderate hydration comfortably, I found Replika to be really disappointing for its price.
TipDon't expect too much in terms of hydration. It's all relative - even products with the lowest moisturizing power often have reviews saying they're great for hydration. Those are just from people who happen to find the product suitable for them. The truly exceptional creams are less mainstream and more likely to be shared through word-of-mouth in patient forums, with reviews that sound almost like testimonials. When you look at reviews overall, you can get a general idea, but this cream was a hasty purchase... and unsurprisingly, the satisfaction level is low. For those like me with problematic skin, we need to test various products ourselves, discontinuing use immediately if something doesn't suit us (a dermatologist told me there's no such thing as a 'purging period'), and switch to different products. Through multiple tests, we develop an eye for what works for us and what ingredients to avoid. What's a miracle cream for one person could be a hellish experience for another. Just because a product is vegan, natural, or 'free-from' doesn't mean it won't cause allergies or irritation, and conversely, a product with a few supposedly harmful ingredients might work perfectly for you.

It goes on in a thin layer without any stickiness, yet provides ample hydration. As someone with super sensitive skin, I sometimes experience tingling and itching, but when I apply this, it feels instantly soothing. I keep one tube at the office and use it like a hand cream!
ConsThe price point isn't exactly budget-friendly. Keep an eye out for sales at Olive Young to snag a better deal!

It's that feeling only those who've used it will understand. And the scent... It's not like a perfume, but more of an emulsion scent that's somehow unique yet pleasant. It's hard to describe, but it's a common yet uncommon emulsion scent? Of course, I think it might be a love-it-or-hate-it thing. And the hydration!!! It's top-notch. Maybe because it's winter, my legs got so dry that I was scratching without realizing, causing bumps like keratosis pilaris and redness. Alarmed, I looked around and decided to buy this La Roche-Posay product instead of a cheaper one, and I'm so happy with it! It's definitely a product you won't regret buying.
Cons1. I thought the ingredients would be great since it said even infants could use it, but now I see it has a high concentration of mineral oil... That's really disappointing. 2. The value for money isn't great. The La Roche-Posay body milk rarely goes on sale.
TipFor those with extremely dry skin, I recommend applying an additional layer of oil.

My body was so dry and itchy that even steroid emulsions didn't help, but as soon as I applied this product, the itching disappeared like magic.
ConsIt's a bit pricey and the small size means you go through it quickly.
TipI occasionally use it on my face when it feels dry, and it works wonders there too.

Amazingly, it eliminated the dead skin cells on my feet in just one day.
ConsI didn't realize it contained fragrance when I bought it. If not for the scent, I would have rated it higher, but the fragrance is a bit overwhelming for full-body application.
