You can apply it a little thickly. After applying it to your face, you can rinse it off after about 10 minutes. You may feel a tightening sensation in your pores. After 10 minutes, when you cleanse your face, lightly moisten the dry pack and gently massage your entire face. A single use may not show dramatic effects, so it's best to use it consistently. My skin is combination-oily and prone to heat, with enlarged pores and redness, so it needed care. After cleansing, my skin feels more refined and my skin tone appears slightly brighter. Using it two to three times a week is recommended. It seems to be effective for pores and sebum. It cleanses away impurities thoroughly, and the pore cleansing seems to work well.

It has a slightly sticky feeling, and there are granules in the pack that can be slightly irritating, so you need to apply it gently. There is a slightly heated, flushed feeling on the face. Sensitive skin types should use it with caution.

Even after rinsing, the areas where I applied it a bit thicker still feel very moisturized, with some residual moisture left. Normally, wash-off packs with granules tend to feel scratchy, but the Pore Tightening Pearl Clay Mask Pack did not feel that way at all.

Rinsing off the pack after it dried completely was a bit difficult. And applying it in a thin, even layer was also a little challenging.

Using a cleansing towel would likely make it easier to rinse off. I'd recommend using a silicone brush to apply it in a thin, even layer. Applying it with just the spatula tends to result in it being applied too thickly.
