Great for dry hair! It's moisturizing, makes hair soft, and calms the scalp. Plus, it's affordable. However, not recommended for those with oily or easily tangled hair. Might not be refreshing enough for some scalps. You might develop a tolerance quickly. At first, it was incredibly soft and satisfying, but later it became just okay. The fragrance is absolutely divine! My hair was oily yet felt extremely dry, but this shampoo has made it so much calmer and softer. I think I've found my holy grail shampoo that I'll stick with! I can't really think of any downsides, but if I had to pick something, it might be the sweet scent. For those who aren't fans of strong fragrances, it could be a bit intense... The scent is lovely and it leaves my hair smooth without any tangles! I'm extremely satisfied with the texture of my hair! I have skin prone to excessive dead skin cells, and it's been particularly bad lately, perhaps due to the changing seasons. Unfortunately, this product has no effect whatsoever on removing dead skin cells.

For years, I stuck to scalp-specific shampoos for oily hair, like Aveda's mint shampoo. But even with those, my scalp never felt truly clean, quickly became greasy again, and sometimes even had an odor. I blamed it on my skin type and overall condition, thinking the shampoo couldn't be the problem. Over time, my hair became damaged. No matter how much conditioner or treatment I used, my hair remained dry and lifeless - I often heard comments about how dry it looked at the salon. Then, a hairstylist suggested using a scalp shampoo twice a week and a regular hair shampoo the rest of the time. That's when I decided to try something new. I already knew Tsubaki's treatments and conditioners were great, but I'd never tried their shampoo because of my scalp type. To my surprise, it worked wonders! It actually balanced my oil production. I was amazed. Instead of scalp odor, there's a lovely fragrance, and my hair feels so soft after use. While the ingredients list isn't perfect, I haven't had any allergic reactions, so I consider it acceptable. My hair feels softer, and I can see and feel the shine and improved appearance. Unfortunately, I'm experiencing blemishes along my hairline, and my skin is even peeling.

It moisturizes dry hair and has just the right cleansing effectiveness. Is it a Japanese product? That's a shame... The fragrance of Tsubaki is absolutely divine! The shampoo alone leaves my hair feeling so hydrated, and it lathers up beautifully. Unfortunately, the packaging looks a bit outdated and doesn't quite fit with my bathroom decor.
