No blemishes appeared and no dead skin cells flaked off! Application - Wow - honestly, it feels even more silky and smooth than NARS?? This is the first concealer I've found to be this soft. It's so easy to blend with fingers, with absolutely no pilling. I'm surprised this isn't more popular just based on how well it applies. +I use it all over my face, but it seems most suitable for dark circles Adherence + Longevity - Extremely good. The staying power is good enough to use as a foundation replacement, and it adheres so well that it gives an almost bare-skin feel without being thick! It doesn't ball up even when I sweat. Color range - While generally slightly pinker, I personally like that instead of just 21, 22, 23, the shades are more nuanced according to undertone! ++For those wanting to neutralize redness, the 1W shade might be more suitable. Even though I'm cool-toned, 1W is more of an ivory that's not too yellow
ConsCoverage - Coverage is crucial for concealers after all.. While it applies smoothly, the coverage isn't exceptional. It's just enough for dark circles? I mainly use it for diffuse redness, around the nose, or to cover small veins, but it might be a bit lacking for covering inflamed acne. Price - As it's Laura Mercier, a high-end brand, it does hurt the wallet a bit when purchasing.. Also, it's not easily available in local stores, you need to go to specific department stores or Sephora to buy it
TipIt's great to use instead of foundation on days when your skin feels congested (especially in summer!!) I like to use it as a light daily base, just blending a bit on dark areas, around the nose, etc.

While I don't use concealer often, I like to keep it on hand for when I need it. I used to be hesitant about concealers because they were too thick and didn't cover well, but nowadays they've really improved. Anyway, this concealer has somewhat changed my perception of concealers. Coverage: I'd give it 4 stars for coverage. It's not full coverage, but I think it's pretty good. Considering its texture, it covers quite well. The texture is incredibly smooth and hydrating, yet it provides good coverage. Usually, high-coverage products are thick, but this one is smooth while still covering well. It hides about 90% of my dark spots. Adherence: When you think of Laura Mercier, you think of great adherence, right? One of the best things about my favorite brand, Laura Mercier, is its adherence and fine particles. Among all the concealers I've used, this has the best adherence. I have many concealers from Nars, MAKE UP FOR EVER, CLIO, LUNA, and HANSKIN, but none adhere as well as Laura Mercier. It sticks to the skin perfectly, whether applied before or after foundation. I love it! 5 stars for adherence. Longevity: The staying power is better than expected. I have dry skin, so foundation and concealer don't usually wear off easily. Even after about 6 hours, while it's not as perfect as when first applied, blemishes are still well-hidden. So I'd say the longevity is good. It's hydrating yet performs above average in adherence, longevity, and coverage. I'd give it 4 stars for longevity. Overall, this concealer is hydrating with good adherence and longevity. It's not cakey, spreads easily, and most importantly, it adheres well, blending nicely with foundation whether applied before or after.
ConsThere's not really anything I dislike about it. Maybe that it's not extremely high coverage? I haven't tried it on dark spots, so I'm not sure about its performance there. I mainly use it for covering blemishes, and while it's not extreme coverage, it covers naturally. The shade isn't particularly light. I usually prefer Elvé shade 21, so the fact that it works well with Laura Mercier foundation could be both a pro and a con.
TipI found it worked best when used with Laura Mercier foundation. Rather than using a sponge, I gently apply it with a concealer brush, set it lightly with powder, and it lasts all day. Of course, this might be partly due to my dry skin. It's a perfect match with the foundation from the same line!
