But after hearing a YouTuber say that sticking to just one type might not lead to noticeable skin improvements, I decided to try this slightly alkaline cleanser. It was a great find, especially during the Origins week sale. While not cheap, Origins - created by Estée Lauder's son - always delivers quality. They're known for their natural approach too. As someone with dry skin, I'm particularly careful about this. Using a small amount with lots of lather makes it last longer. The most impressive part? After cleansing, my skin feels refreshed yet moisturized! There's no tightness even after a while. My skin has become incredibly soft. While I need to see if this improvement lasts, I've already ordered two more!

The only reason I'm not using it as much lately is that as I've gotten older, I prefer a gentler cleanse, so I've switched to a milder solid cleanser for my morning routine. But this is still the best foam cleanser of my life. I still use it regularly to remove makeup - one wash takes everything off except mascara. It doesn't leave my skin feeling tight, and it even helps clear up acne. I sound like I'm selling some miracle cure, but for me, it truly is the ultimate solution in the world of cleansing foams... (nostalgic sigh)

- If it suits your face, this is a great foaming cleanser to use regularly.

- Likely better suited for oily skin than dry skin. I have very oily skin and have been using it for almost a year;
- I used it when my skin condition was at its worst, going downhill rapidly. As my skin kept getting drier, using this made my dryness, clogged pores, and acne skyrocket.
- Personally, I prefer a more moisturizing finish over a squeaky-clean one. Sorry, Origins....

Personally, I really like Origins. It has the cleanest image among similar brands. It's just a shame that it doesn't work for me:
- Refreshing and smooth finish. Similar to the Neutrogena Energizing Cleanser (with blue beads) I reviewed before, but less harsh.
- Feels decently purifying and cleansing, without leaving the skin overly dry.
- Pleasant, organic-like fragrance that is refreshing.
- Can produce rich lather with just a small amount.
- The volume is not too small either.
