It's perfect for a makeup look using just cushion foundation without powder. It blends seamlessly, unlike powder blushes which can clash with the texture of cushion foundation.
ConsCompared to powder blushes, the color payoff doesn't last as long. While the shade itself is pretty, it's a warm tone, which was slightly disappointing for my cool complexion.

I love this product's color and ease of use! Some might find it bothersome, but since I use foundation, I always use a puff anyway. After applying foundation, I draw a diagonal line just below the cheekbones and blend it out with the puff - it's perfect! I can control the intensity, making it as bold or subtle as I want. I bought this shade and Living Coral, but Living was too pink. This shade gives a natural flush, so I reach for it more often. VDL really excels at creating beautiful colors! The brush is shaped like a nail polish applicator - not the softest, but not bad either.
ConsThe applicator might be a hygiene concern for those with sensitive skin. While I don't experience blemishes and use it well, it's a bit disappointing that the brush needs to touch your face. Whether you use your fingers or a puff, you'll need some kind of tool to apply it. I prefer this method, but beginners might find it challenging.
TipApply a small amount to both cheeks and build up the intensity as desired. I recommend gently blending with a puff. Be careful not to apply too much, as the intensity might differ between the left and right sides! If you've overdone it, apply a tiny bit of foundation over the blush area. You can then reapply the blush or, if the area has become too wide, focus on applying small amounts of foundation to the expanded areas. I use the same puff for foundation and blush - the residual foundation on the puff seems to make the blush look even more natural. I'm not a fan of heavy makeup, so moderation is key!
