First off, my skin is in total disarray right now! I've got unripe pustular blemishes, allergic breakouts, and my pores have expanded significantly. I finally tried this product that I bought ages ago. Luckily, my skin responds really well to tea tree! So when I applied the mask, there was no irritation, and the fabric didn't feel harsh. Usually, even the slightest tingling from a mask causes me to break out, but this one was fine. Plus, it had a cooling effect which I absolutely loved! Even though I hadn't refrigerated it, it felt refreshingly cool the entire time I wore it, giving a soothing sensation. When I woke up in the morning, some of the blemishes I was hoping would come to a head had turned yellow, ready for easy extraction. The cooling effect seems to have helped calm my redness too - my skin tone looks more balanced. The absorption was pretty poor. I must have patted it in for a good 10 minutes, but it just wouldn't sink in. I didn't want to waste the product by wiping it off, so I went to bed with it still sitting on my skin. Come morning, my face was an oil slick because of the unabsorbed product. On the bright side, at least it didn't cause any new breakouts. I think it might be a good idea to follow up with a toner after using this mask to remove any excess product. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinMar 18, 2019
Here's my review after using the product! My skin type is combination, but leaning towards dry. I used the tea tree mask pack while struggling with skin issues due to fine dust pollution. Pros: 1. The sheet adhered well to my face, staying put even when I moved around. 2. I loved that it was generously soaked in essence! 3. The essence had a runny consistency, which made it feel super hydrating. It really helped calm down the blemishes around my chin area. As for the downsides... First, the packaging seems a bit oversized. I think 2/3 of the current size would be sufficient to contain the essence and mask. Secondly, while the tea tree content did help soothe blemishes, I noticed new breakouts in other areas. I realized that the mask alone wasn't enough to provide adequate hydration. It seemed to leave behind oil without moisture, which may have caused the new blemishes. I found that applying toner for initial hydration before using the mask worked much better. Lastly, while the runny essence texture allows for good adherence, it kept dripping down. Am I the only one experiencing this? By the time I removed the mask, the essence had covered my entire nose, which was only half-covered when I first applied it. It's not particularly bothersome, just something I noticed. For those with dehydrated skin, make sure to apply a hydrating product before using this tea tree mask pack! It seems to be an excellent product for soothing blemishes.
