Wow, I forgot to bring sunscreen on my Busan trip and had to buy this in a hurry at the market. After checking a few Hwahae reviews, this seemed the best option for just 3,000 won - and what a find it turned out to be! I brought it back to Seoul, and even my siblings were impressed, asking what it was. The more we use it, the more we love it! I've tried over 50 top-ranked products on Hwahae and still use some, but this beats them all! No white cast, no pilling, and it has the perfect balance of moisture and richness. It's amazing! The only downside is that the company is a bit unknown, so it's hard to verify how effective the UV protection really is. But honestly, given how incredibly affordable it is, I can't complain! The value for money in terms of how it feels on the skin is absolutely fantastic. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 17, 2023
Wow, like the person below, I used to use the old version of this sunscreen for a long time. When I was looking for something with the same ingredients, I found out it was rebranded as Alfredo Whimas sunscreen, so I stuck with it. I've been using it for about 7-8 years now. Since it's also suitable for children, it's gentle enough for my sensitive skin. With its affordable price, I stock up on several bottles and apply it generously not just on my face, but also on my neck and body. It leaves a slightly moisturizing feel and evens skin tone, making it great as a makeup base too. What I love most is that it doesn't have that typical white cast or sticky feeling that other sunscreens often have!!! Trust in the company...?? Haha. Since the sunscreen is so inexpensive, I do wonder if it's really effective at blocking UV rays. Still, it doesn't cause any blemishes when applied, and I'm slathering it on generously thanks to its affordable price... I just hope the company doesn't go out of business! - ch********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 24, 2023
I've been using this consistently for almost a decade. Even though I was skeptical due to its low price and tried switching to other products, my husband and father kept begging me to buy it for them. So, I ended up sticking with it. It applies like an emulsion, naturally evens skin tone, and keeps skin hydrated. The affordable price makes it great for generous application all over the body. The price is extremely low, but the ingredients seem to have changed a bit. It used to feel gentler in the past. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 22, 2022
None. I tried it on my face because it was cheap, but I had an allergic reaction. I applied it to my face because it was inexpensive, but I had an allergic reaction. It's also very greasy. I ended up using it on my body instead. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 19, 2021
I stumbled upon this product at a great price, and it's fantastic! The generous amount you get is a real bonus. I can't really think of any specific drawbacks worth mentioning. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 18, 2020
My absolute favorite sunscreen! I'm puzzled why everyone isn't using this. It applies like an emulsion, absorbs well, and creates a perfect base for makeup. The best part? It's so affordable! The only downside is that you can't purchase it offline. It absorbs so well no matter how you apply it, there's really no special trick needed. - ek*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 11, 2020
Wow... This is the best! I've tried several top-ranked sunscreens on Hwahae and every summer I'm in a battle with sunscreens, sun fluids, and sun cushions. But honestly, I've never been 100% satisfied with any of them. I've tried Cell Fusion C, Innisfree Blueberry, Innisfree The Minimum, Make P:rem Sun Fluid, CNP Tone-Up Sun Protection, Bioré UV Emulsion, HERA Sun Mate Daily UV, HERA Sun Mate Protector UV, Mamonde Everyday... Looking it up, these are just the ones ranked in Hwahae's top 50 (I've tried many more outside the rankings, probably about 10 different sun cushions and sun sticks too). They all had one or two unsatisfactory aspects. But this one is amazing! No white cast Applies smoothly like an emulsion Moisturizing!! No tightness!! Yet it's powdery!!! Matte finish with hydrated skin underneath Great ingredients Pleasant, soft cosmetic scent Satisfactory SPF 50 sun protection Like someone mentioned in the comments below, I used to love Alfredo Whitemas 2 years ago and left a good review then, but it seemed to be discontinued for a while. It looks like it's been renewed and relaunched, with even better ingredients and improvements in other aspects. I mean, why can't other big companies make sunscreens like this... I bought this for just 1,800 won, but why are those 10,000-30,000 won sunscreens so disappointing? They should learn from Alfredo Whitemas!! I really can't figure out this company. They've renewed the product, but I don't understand why they're sticking with the name 'Alfredo Whitemas' lol. But please don't change the name! If you do, we won't be able to find it... Please keep this promotional-like price under 2,000 won! Honestly, I wish everyone could try this company's sunscreen, but I hope it doesn't get too famous. But please don't disappear either! Go Alfredo Whitemas!
