That's both a strength and a weakness of Kiehl's - it's just average. I don't really feel positively about it. 😢 And the ingredients are disappointingly poor, so I don't plan to repurchase. (If I had to compare, a whiter tone-up sunscreen might be better.)

I tried a gentle sunscreen that brightens the skin tone.

To be honest, I'm not sure.

This product is really not good. First of all, the fragrance is too strong, making me feel dizzy every time I apply it. And it doesn't feel like it's adhering to the skin at all, just sitting on top of it. Since I have dry skin, it accentuates the flakiness and dryness around my nose, cheeks, and T-zone area. It also feels stuffy and uncomfortable. Moreover, it transfers a lot. Overall, I really don't recommend this to anyone, neither dry-skinned nor oily-skinned people. For dry skin types, I wouldn't recommend it because it emphasizes the flakiness and dryness. For oily skin types, I wouldn't recommend it either because it feels like you're just putting greasy oil on your face.

The cream type was good because it just glided on smoothly, giving a radiant glow to the skin. It also felt moisturizing at first application.

After applying it, it started to itch after 3 hours and my face turned red like I had a burn.
I usually get eczema when using products with chemical ingredients, and I should have checked the ingredients before buying it.
It seemed fine during the test, but I'm going to give it to a family member who is not sensitive.

The coverage is not overly high, and it lightly lifts away, which is important (the previous review of the Real Barrier Extreme Moisture BB cream had everything just fly off, leaving a bare face, but this product just lightly lifts away, which is good), and there is no caking around the nose, eyelid line, flaking, or pore emphasis (which somehow makes the skin look naturally good. The pores on the nose tip are barely visible and look smooth).
When applied, the color looks a bit dark, but blends naturally on the face based on 21 shade (so it can't create a very bright and luminous makeup look, just a slightly radiant look compared to the bare face).
The skin feels comfortable without dryness.

The application is sticky and thick, and it doesn't absorb at all. And the worst part is that it cakes on. After looking at the ingredients here, they're really not great.

It doesn't have anything, just UV protection and very light coverage.
