For the past 2-3 weeks, when going out during the day, I've been using Holika Aloe Soothing Gel + Aloe Moisturizing + sunscreen. <Pros> 1. It pairs well with the Aloe Soothing Gel, and with the added centella ingredient, my skin has experienced fewer blemishes. 2. Unlike the original soothing gel which would cause redness and itching as it evaporated, this product's emulsion formula prevents such issues.
Cons<Cons> 1. Controlling the amount dispensed is quite challenging, so I recommend carefully squeezing out small amounts multiple times. 2. Due to its emulsion formula, unlike the soothing gel, it contains some oil which might not be ideal for oily skin types. Although I have combination dehydrated skin, I continue using it for its excellent soothing effects. I would recommend this to those with dry skin who find aloe gel too drying.
TipWhen used together with the Aloe Soothing Gel, it replenishes lacking moisture and doubles the soothing effect. For those with oily skin, I recommend using it at night along with the soothing gel for calming purposes.
