I apply it minimally or almost not at all before makeup, but I generously layer it on before going to bed at night.

When applied to the face, it spreads smoothly with a rich texture. After toning and applying emulsion, this cream alone provides all the hydration you need. There's a slight richness to it, but it's not excessive - just the right amount of moisture that should work well even for those concerned about blemishes. Best of all, this cream left my skin feeling plump and bouncy! However, I haven't noticed any brightening effects yet.
