There was less oiliness and it felt clean.
ConsI'm not sure what ingredient is causing it, but after applying it and then washing my face, I experienced intense heat and itchiness. I thought it might be due to hormones, but it seems to get worse on the days I use it and better on the days I don't, so I'm looking to try something else. It's disappointing.

I've been a nomadic sunscreen user for years. In conclusion, I think this product would be great for those with non-sensitive oily skin! It has a similar feel to the Innisfree Blueberry Sunscreen, and the scent is also similar! The Dr. Shuracle product is a bit more moisturizing. I hope this helps with your purchase decision! 😊 1. The ingredients are gentle. I'm usually very hesitant to use products with even one questionable ingredient, but I'm glad this one doesn't contain PEGs or dimethicone! 2. The application is fantastic - it glides on lightly. I think this would be great for those looking for a refreshing sunscreen. 3. Even though it's a gel, it doesn't feel heavy or sticky. When you apply a gel before makeup, it can sometimes get cakey or clump up, but that's not the case with this one at all! 4. No white cast or eye irritation 5. Great portable size, fits nicely in the hand 6. Generous sample size, which I appreciated ☺️
Cons1. For those with sensitive dry skin, it can feel a bit drying after applying and before makeup... I felt the application was very similar to the Innisfree Blueberry Sunscreen, where by the afternoon, flaky skin would appear. 😢 2. This may be specific to my skin, but I did experience some small breakouts around my nose area after using it. It could be due to the lavender oil, or just a reaction with the pollution. 😢
TipTo apply, I found it best to dispense the product onto the back of my hand first, then gently pat and spread it across my face, rather than rubbing it directly on. This helps with controlling the amount used. :)

It had a creamy-balm feel to it. It spread smoothly and had a refreshing, slightly invigorating scent that I really liked. The sunscreens I've used before had a white cast and would sometimes pill, but this one is transparent and doesn't pill at all! At first, it gave my skin a dewy glow, and over time it became soft and velvety. There was no greasy or oily residue left on my hands, which I really liked.
ConsI thought that since it absorbed quickly, my skin would feel moisturized underneath, even though the surface felt dry. But as time went on, it actually became drying and tight. For those with dry skin, this might be too drying to use. I had to layer on a full skincare routine - toner, essence, cream, and oil - before applying this sunscreen for it to feel comfortable. And after using it for 3 days, I noticed that I started getting a few blemishes, which I don't usually get. I'm not sure if it's incompatible with my skin type, but since I have very sensitive skin, even products with good ingredients can sometimes not work for me. I'll keep using it, but if the breakouts continue, I'll have to stop and let my sister use it instead.
