I received this product today and was planning to use it consistently before writing a review, but I felt I could share my thoughts right away! When I first applied it, it wasn't sticky but had a thin yet slightly thick consistency. It felt like it was coating my dry lips, so I thought I'd use it before bed rather than daily. However, as the lip balm melted, it also dissolved the dead skin cells. My lips weren't cracked, but they had a lot of built-up dead skin, which seemed to break apart and melt away. Some residue remained, but it's not like dead skin cells naturally disappear... You can just wipe it off. Once it's fully absorbed into the lips, it seems to disappear lightly without causing more dead skin cells to form. My cat keeps trying to lick it off though...
