I bought this to use for waving and setting my hair with a curling iron. I thought the hard type would be really thick, but it's creamy. The scent isn't great, but it's not overpowering either, and as long as you don't hold it right up to your nose, you can't really smell it. The ingredients seem good, like wax, and it doesn't have the downside of leaving a white cast. The cleansing power is also good.

The scent isn't great, and the hold is definitely weaker than a hairspray.
Tip
For long hair, wave it with a curling iron, then take a small amount, rub it between your palms, and apply it mainly to the ends of your hair.
