To get the best results, remove excess product from the brush and start applying from the middle of your lashes.

If you don't apply it evenly, it can clump and make your eyes feel heavy.

The mascara wand has a thin tip, allowing you to coat even the tiniest lashes at the inner corners.

It can be a bit tricky to remove with cleansing oil, but it comes off easily with cleansing balm or eye makeup remover. If it feels a bit dry, just apply it to your lower lashes and use a fresh tube for the upper lashes - it applies smoothly and works great!

If I had to nitpick, I'd say that since it's a 'Volume Curling' mascara, it doesn't dramatically lengthen the lashes.

I've been using this mascara since high school, and I've gone through so many tubes I've lost count! As someone with monolids, my lashes tend to droop easily, so mascara is crucial for my eye makeup. Ever since I started using this, I can apply my makeup early in the morning and when I come home at night to remove it, I'm amazed to find that it hasn't smudged at all and my lashes are still perfectly curled! It's almost a shame to take it off. The 1+1 deal is always a bonus too! I've tried the 'Long' version as well, and it's great. Clio mascaras are simply the best. If you hate droopy lashes, just go for this one.

The product gets stuck on the outside of the container more severely than other products, and as you use it, it becomes really messy...

There is some fallout under the eyes, and it smudges a little (even with powder applied). Because of this, you need to wipe under your eyes occasionally throughout the day.

When I used Kiss Me products, I experienced eye irritation and often had sore eyes after wearing contacts. However, with the Clio mascara, I didn't have any eye irritation, and the curl held amazingly well from day to night. I bought it during a buy-one-get-one-free promotion, so I didn't think the price was too high.

When you use tweezers, it separates each lash beautifully, and when you apply it normally, it looks clean and pretty! If you swipe it on your lower lashes too, they become longer and gorgeous!

Well, personally, I don't think it's a 'first love' mascara, but everyone's different, so I'm not sure!

Why on earth aren't you using this yet? It's absolutely incredible! I've tried all those famous, expensive mascaras, but they always drooped on my monolids. I've been getting lash extensions for 4 years, but when I took a break to let my eyes rest, they looked so plain. I went to Olive Young to choose a mascara, and the staff member casually recommended this one. I was in a bad mood but bought it anyway, and wow - I found my holy grail! It's seriously the top mascara for monolids, my 'First Love Mascara'. I bought two, and I use it both with tweezers and on its own. It's amazing!
