I first tried this low pH cleanser when my acne was at its peak! Perhaps because of that, I noticed a significant reduction in visible breakouts! I saw such great results that I honestly don't have any complaints!

I stumbled upon a Kiehl's sample by chance, and I'm really satisfied with its gentle ingredients, good cleansing effectiveness for a second cleanse, and most importantly, its non-irritating, gentle finish that doesn't leave my skin feeling dry. When I first squeezed it out, I thought it might be an emulsion due to its texture, but it's actually categorized as a gel. It lathers up nicely with soft bubbles, and I'm absolutely loving using it. The price is a bit steep for a second cleanser, and while it works well for me, there's that typical Kiehl's ingredient list that feels a bit... deceptive. Since I have dry skin, I only use this on days when I wear makeup. It's a product that feels a bit odd to use on its own, so I always make sure to finish up with a foam cleanser.
