I'm really into skincare basics like ampoules, essences, moisturizers, cleansing waters, and sunsticks. While I love sunshine, I prefer to protect my skin from the sun. I favor sunsticks with mineral filters. Due to my sensitive eyes and skin that reacts to fragrances and white cast, I opt for fragrance-free and colorless options. I dislike feeling like I have a layer on my skin, so I prefer products that absorb well and aren't sticky. Here are the sunsticks I've tried in the last two years: [List of sunsticks with brand names and quantities] All of these are SPF50+ PA++++. When I was searching for sunsticks, I heard about Cynic. While it's affordable and popular, many reviews mentioned it was sticky, so I wasn't drawn to it. This new sunstick they've introduced is mineral-based. It's said to have good absorption and be less sticky than their previous offerings, so I snapped it up during a sale. I purchased it through Hwahae and the delivery was quick. The free avocado cleansing foam was a cute touch, and I appreciated the three sample peeling pads they included. It only contains titanium dioxide, similar to the Innisfree Ato Soothing sunstick I already own. Other products I have with titanium dioxide and additional mineral filters include the Singsing Sejong Balgeure and Hanyul White Chrysanthemum sunsticks. It's currently the rainy season with high humidity, so I'll add a comparison review after trying it outdoors on a clear day.
ConsI'm deducting one star because it contains pore-clogging ingredients. For now, I'm satisfied with the price, and as long as it doesn't irritate my eyes or cause blemishes, it should be fine. However, the white cast is too severe. Even when spread out, it's very noticeable and troublesome to apply, so I'm deducting another star.
TipPlease layer with a chemical sunscreen for added protection.

Great portability 2. Not too oily (only when first applied!) 3. No white cast 4. Can be applied without getting on hands 5. No pilling when using only the sunstick 6. No blemishes or itching 7. Easy to apply on arms, neck, and legs
Cons1. As I reapply, my pores appear larger and my skin becomes oily (at least on my skin!) 2. Can't reapply over makeup 3. Being a stick, it's not ideal for using on both face and body
TipWhile I didn't experience any blemishes or itching, I noticed my pores kept getting larger, so I might have to use this only on my body. My skin is combination dehydrated, so when I first applied it, it felt a bit dry. However, after using a soothing gel underneath, it felt less drying. But the inevitable oiliness with reapplication was unavoidable... I guess I have to blame my skin type!
