This mineral sunscreen definitely provides excellent UV protection in summer. It feels like it keeps my skin cooler! Though it's white, it brightens my complexion, making my skin look naturally fairer rather than leaving a white cast. I have genetically darker lips, and this sunscreen really makes them pop... It's amazing how just applying this sunscreen alone makes me look like I've done a full face of makeup. What a steal! Also, it doesn't cause any blemishes! I appreciate that the scent isn't too overpowering. I'm on my second bottle now - it's that good! The SPF could be higher... In peak summer, when going out, I apply a hydrating sunscreen first, then layer this on top. It doesn't really absorb, so it can feel a bit heavy on the skin. You can't touch your face after applying it because the white mineral powder residue stays on. If you use too much, it can settle into eyelid creases. It also tends to clump up where glasses rest on the nose. Fortunately, it doesn't leave white marks when you sweat. However, it doesn't wash off easily without double cleansing. I personally don't like to cleanse too harshly as it feels rough on my skin, so I've learned to live with it not coming off completely... Despite this, it doesn't cause blemishes! That's truly legendary - my acne actually decreased while using this. For those who prefer light makeup, just apply this and you're good to go. It works well as a base. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 8, 2023
It naturally evens out the complexion and doesn't cause any blemishes or small bumps The scent is artificial, and when applied by hand, the sunscreen is difficult to wash off - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 11, 2021
It seems to work well for me. My skin is quite sensitive, but I didn't experience any blemishes. It feels a bit greasy, though I appreciate that it's not drying. Try applying it with a puff instead of your hands - it seems to absorb better that way. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinMar 7, 2021
It worked well for me. I didn't get any blemishes and it seemed to suit my skin nicely. Well, there wasn't anything particularly bad, but occasionally when my skin wasn't in great condition, it would sting a bit if I applied this directly. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 17, 2021
My complexion naturally brightened, and I didn't get any blemishes. It feels moisturizing when applied, but afterwards it's like... how should I say... pleasantly matte? I love that my hair doesn't stick to my face either! I wouldn't recommend this for those with dry skin. It leaves a slightly dry feeling. As someone with oily skin, it worked fine for me though. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSep 19, 2020
Well, at least it didn't cause any blemishes! But honestly, that's about the only positive thing I can say about it... First off, since it's a mineral sunscreen, the white cast was pretty intense... (It doesn't show up well in photos, but it made my skin so white that I ended up not wanting to use it much). It also felt greasy and sticky, which made applying it quite unpleasant. Lastly, if I tried to layer anything on top of this sunscreen, everything just pilled up. If you're going to use this, I'd suggest applying it on its own without layering anything else on top. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 1, 2020
It's a bit rich at first, but the oiliness naturally fades over time. I've never experienced any blemishes while using it, and it suits my combination skin perfectly. Thanks to this, it's become my holy grail sunscreen. There's no stinging in the eyes, and the scent is quite pleasant! While there is a slight white cast, I don't typically wear foundation, so I appreciated the natural brightening effect it provided. When cleansing, even after using an oil cleanser followed by a foam cleanser, it can be a bit stubborn to remove. So, pay extra attention to your cleansing routine after applying this product! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 9, 2020
I rarely write reviews, but I feel this product is underrated given its low score. So, I'm leaving my thoughts... - I have sensitive, dry skin prone to blemishes, especially in summer without mineral sunscreen due to excess sweat and heat. - Thanks to this, I've tried various mineral sunscreens each summer. This one has the least white cast among all I've used (gives a natural brightening effect). - It's low on oil and feels light, but doesn't make skin feel tight. My skin feels very comfortable and doesn't break out. - The ingredients are excellent. - Often 50% off, making it very affordable. I think there's no need to splurge on sunscreen as ingredients are similar across brands. - The scent is pleasantly fresh. - While not waterproof, it has good staying power. It's harder to wash off than other mineral sunscreens when washing hands after application. - No pilling. Absorbs well compared to other mineral sunscreens. If I had to pick a flaw, it's that it forms white droplets when you sweat. But this applies to all mineral sunscreens, so it's unavoidable for those of us who sweat a lot. Go for it when it's on sale. As you probably know, mineral sunscreens should be applied in multiple layers by patting, not rubbing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 17, 2020
I'm pleased with the brightening effect! I bought it on a The Face Shop employee's recommendation, and it's quite usable. Fortunately, it didn't cause any blemishes for me! Hmm, I wasn't too thrilled about how it turns pinkish when applied. The way it made my face look flushed was also a bit concerning. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 7, 2020
I used to use The Face Shop's 'Sebum Control Sunscreen', but it seemed to cause tiny bumps every time I applied it. Not a good match for my skin! So I switched to this mineral sunscreen that's gentler on the skin. Since making the switch, I haven't experienced any blemishes after use. As you can see in the photo, there's a slight white cast, but it becomes more natural if you pat it in. From my perspective, it seems less irritating to my skin, so I'm satisfied with this product! The absorption isn't as impressive as organic sunscreens! It has a bit of a thick consistency. That's why I took off one star! You need to pat it in thoroughly when applying to reduce the white cast!
