It applies smoothly and absorbs instantly.
ConsI bought the toner and emulsion because they were supposed to be good for sensitive skin... But as soon as I applied them, my cheeks turned red, and it eventually spread across my entire face. My face looks like a tomato. I don't feel a burning sensation, but it is itchy. After a day, it became itchy and tingly. I stopped using it after two days, and my skin became rough. My skin feels dry and cracked. Now I'm using my regular skincare products to calm my skin down. So disappointing!

ConsThe first time I applied it, my face turned red, but it hasn't happened since then.

ConsI've been using it for about a month or two. At first, I didn't notice anything, but recently, perhaps because my skin has become more sensitive, I feel a strong burning sensation after applying it. My whole face heats up and turns red

ConsI have super sensitive skin, and I've been using this for about 2 weeks as the seasons changed. After a few days, I started feeling a tingling sensation. I tried to push through it, but every time I applied it, the tingling persisted and I developed redness along my cheekbones. I tend to react to most emulsions with a burning sensation. Even Physiogel, which is supposed to be gentle, made my skin tingle and turn red.

The scent is subtle and pleasant too. Compared to other products I've used, I notice fewer blemishes popping up on my face, which is really satisfying. Since my nose and forehead are slightly oily, I appreciate that it's not overly hydrating. At the same time, it doesn't leave my cheeks and mouth area feeling dry, which is great!
ConsI thought it was gentle, but I didn't realize it contained surfactants. While it feels fine when applied to my face, it causes itching on areas with atopic dermatitis. It's even more irritating than the Dr. Belmeur toner. (I wouldn't recommend this for those with atopic dermatitis on their face. I currently only have it on my neck.)
TipI think it works well when used with the Dr. Belmeur line! Make sure to buy it when it's on sale!

It has a lightweight feel and absorbs well. The overall experience is pleasant. However, I think I'll use it as a hand cream instead.
ConsI only applied it to one cheek and my forehead. By the third day, the treated areas developed what seemed to be small blemishes or pimples. Red spots appeared in clusters (note: I rarely get blemishes and usually worry about dryness and wrinkles, as well as redness from cold wind). It doesn't provide enough hydration and seems to evaporate quickly in cold wind or heated air. You too might end up using it as just a hand cream...

Despite the high levels of fine dust lately and even when I was sick with a fever, this product didn't cause any additional breakouts or issues. I even applied it to my elbows, heels, and back - it wasn't sticky and didn't leave my skin feeling too dry. It struck a perfect balance!
ConsMy neck and lips were extremely dry, to the point where the skin was cracking. When the product touched these areas, it really stung. Of course, any product might have caused discomfort in that situation, but this one seemed to sting more than other skincare products I've used.
TipIn the morning, I use COSRX Clarifying Toner on a cotton pad to prep my skin. Then I pump this product twice and apply it all over my face, followed by one more pump for overall coverage. Finally, I lightly coat with a small amount of my usual Physiogel cream. This routine leaves my skin feeling firm and supple! It also creates a great base for makeup, preventing it from separating or looking patchy.

Despite being an emulsion, I loved how quickly it absorbs and how it's not sticky! Two pumps are just right to care for your face and neck. I also liked the mild scent. The photo was taken after a week of use. I started using it after my menstrual cycle when my blemishes were already clearing up, so it's hard to say if the calming of small blemishes was solely due to this product. However, my skin texture looks quite refined! I didn't notice at first, but it seems my redness has reduced too!
ConsAs someone with deep dryness and slightly oily T-zone, I don't think this product suited me well. For the T-zone, it actually managed oil well and was fine, but after using this product, I experienced a burning sensation around my eyes. This burning sensation was particularly noticeable when water touched my eye area or when applying products rich in hydration. However, I'm not certain if this product is the cause, so I'll stop using it from today and update my review later. It has been unusually dry lately, after all.
TipThis might be great for those with slightly oily skin as it absorbs quickly and doesn't feel rich.

However, as it's an emulsion, you might feel dry without applying cream afterwards. Those with very dry skin might struggle even in summer, while oily skin types could find it refreshing for summer use. Scent: There's a slight herbal aroma, which I found pleasantly fresh. Packaging: The clean, clinical-looking exterior is absolutely beautiful, reminiscent of something you'd receive from a dermatologist's office.
ConsI tried it the day I received it, but the next day I noticed some small bumps around my mouth. While I can't definitively say it was because of this product, those with super sensitive skin should test it on their wrist or behind their ear before applying it to their face!

Having sensitive, dehydrated skin, I usually patch test products on my neck first since even slightly incompatible ones can cause small bumps or redness immediately. This one passed the test, and I had no adverse reactions when applying it directly to my face. The pump bottle is super convenient (I usually use 2-3 pumps for a generous application). The texture is slightly thinner than a typical moisturizer, spreading easily on the skin with decent absorption. After applying 2-3 pumps, it absorbs nicely in about 3-5 minutes (though this might be due to my dry skin). I recently saw a beauty program screenshot online explaining that toners and emulsions have the same ingredients but differ in viscosity. If you want to refine your skin texture by wiping, I'd recommend using it as a toner with a cotton pad. For a light, hydrating layer before sunscreen or makeup, use it as an emulsion! The scent is like a blend of jojoba oil and quince - not off-putting at all.
ConsOne downside is that it's important to consider ingredient compatibility when using multiple products. For instance, when I applied this Dr. Belmeur Cica Emulsion followed by the CNP Madeca Cream, my face felt itchy, suggesting they didn't work well together. So now I just use this emulsion alone in the morning.
TipAfter cleansing, pump it two or three times and apply. It leaves your skin hydrated without any deep dryness. Let's keep our skin plump with moisture before we age any further!
