The texture isn't dry at all and it applies smoothly, so it doesn't pill much over time and maintains good coverage. The amount you get is generous - even with daily use, you might not finish it before the expiration date! After a really long time, it does start to fade a bit. If you apply it in the morning, expect it to disappear by late evening.
