It's absolutely stunning... The shimmer is so sophisticated. True to its white opal color, it has this mesmerizing glow that blends purple and pink shimmers, shining transparently without any yellow or dull tones. It's not over the top, making it perfect for daily makeup, and it's especially flattering on cool-toned skin. Just a light touch on the cheekbones, eyelids, and bridge of the nose brings out your facial features and gives you a vibrant look. The fine particles and excellent adherence create a natural finish without emphasizing skin texture. The color payoff varies greatly depending on the brush used. The included puff applicator is practically useless, so a separate brush is essential. While those who prefer a subtle look might enjoy it, if you're after intense radiance or a powdery finish, you might find the pigmentation a bit weak. For a more pronounced glow, try patting it on with your fingertips instead of using a brush. - li******Dry SkinRecommendedJun 28, 2024
The color payoff is excellent, with a subtle and beautiful glow. It also has a nice adherence to the skin. The particles aren't extremely fine, so you need to be careful when applying it. - ik******Dry SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 26, 2024
When I first opened the package, I was a bit skeptical because it didn't seem to have much shimmer. But once I applied it, wow! It's absolutely gorgeous. It's like a perfect white-pink highlighter that truly lives up to its 'White Opal' name. The price is admittedly a bit wicked... However, I think it's worth every penny. You definitely get what you pay for with this product. - jm*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinDec 17, 2023
I purchased the ivory shade. The opal was too aurora-like and felt like children's makeup, so ivory was a better choice. The included brush is convenient for quick touch-ups. The product comes in a generous amount. While the particles are fine, I was hoping for a more subtle and sophisticated look. Considering the price, it's just average. Applying it with your fingers works better than using the brush. - ka*****Combination SkinRednessRecommendedNov 15, 2023
I discovered this product while searching for a highlighter with a light undertone, and luckily, it was in stock at the Lotte Duty Free. I immediately purchased it. Although the price is a bit steep, highlighters tend to last a long time, so it's worth the investment. It gives off a subtle pink beam that looks more flattering under the eyes and on the cheekbones rather than on the bridge of the nose. The color is truly beautiful. When I applied it with a MAC fan brush, the shimmer particles seemed to break up a bit. I think the brush might not be the best choice for this product. It looks beautiful even when applied casually. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 19, 2023
This product gives a subtle, radiant glow without being over the top. I love how the fine shimmer particles don't accentuate pores. It's a bit disappointing that there's some excess powder fallout. It's even more of a shame since this product has been discontinued. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 12, 2022
It gives me that opalescent effect I've been looking for - a shimmering highlighter that creates an opal-like glow on top of fair skin. I love how it instantly brightens my complexion, making my face look fresh and radiant. I was worried the shimmer particles might settle into my pores and clump together. Fortunately, even on my oily skin, it doesn't emphasize pores or look patchy. However, the highlighter seems to come off easily when touched, which is a bit of a downside. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedNov 20, 2021
I'm using Ivory Gold instead of 40. I went to the store to buy lipstick, but ended up being persuaded by the sales associate to get this. The subtle gold pearl effect is absolutely mesmerizing and beautiful! Unlike MAC's Beaming Blush, which can make you look like a golden statue if you're not careful, this one is much more forgiving. It's not just a highlighter - you can use it on your aegyo sal (under-eye area) and eyelids for a lovely accent. It looks gorgeous wherever you apply it... it's so versatile! I'm completely satisfied. The price, I suppose? And the built-in brush... well... it seems like it's just there for show! It never seems to wear down no matter how much you use it. I wish they'd reduce the amount and lower the price... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 20, 2020
It gives a subtle and beautiful glow. It seems to suit cool-toned skin better than warm-toned skin. It has a mix of pink and purple shimmer. While it looks nice when applied as a blush on the cheeks, the purple can be a bit overwhelming when used on the nose. - ys***Combination SkinRecommendedJun 29, 2019
First off, it's Chanel, so that's a plus. It has a built-in brush. The pink beam is pretty without looking tacky. When applied to the front of the cheeks, it gives a plump and beautiful appearance. There's some excess powder fallout, unfortunately. The brush quality isn't great, which might contribute to this issue. The case needs frequent cleaning. It works even better if you use a different brush instead of the built-in one.
