The first drawback is the price, and the second drawback is also the price! However, once you start using it, you won't regret your purchase.

1) Among the Sublimage line, the only two products I consistently use are the brightening essence, L'Essence Lumière, and the cream, La Crème Lumière. These two are so incredibly effective that I make sure to purchase them twice a year.

2) The results are visible immediately after application. Your face instantly brightens up.

3) While the essence isn't very hydrating on its own, the cream compensates for this. The catch is that you need to use both together for optimal results.

4) I've tried using just the cream before, but the complexion-enhancing effect isn't as pronounced. The real magic happens when you use both products in tandem.

5) If someone were to ask what's absolutely worth buying from Chanel's Sublimage line, I'd recommend these two brightening products without hesitation. Some people might suggest the overnight cream mask, but honestly, you can find comparable moisturizing creams elsewhere for that price. However, it's challenging to find an essence and cream duo that delivers such remarkable complexion-enhancing results. If you're after a noticeable improvement in your skin tone, it's worth splurging on these products at least once.

I've been using this for several bottles now. The improvement in complexion and skin texture is visibly noticeable right after application. It's so effective that I can see the difference immediately. Not a single penny wasted on this. It's become my holy grail product. This essence is like magic, making your skin firm! Very firm! It's a product that lets you feel your skin becoming elastic in an instant... Once you fall for this product, you'll keep buying it like you're trapped in an ant colony. While it's marketed as a radiance essence, I'm not sure about the glow, but it certainly fulfills its role as an essence admirably.

I bought three items and it cost over $1,800! Also, I just found out here on Hwahae that the ingredients are... oh no... not good at all. I'm so disappointed. I'm really questioning if it's worth trusting and using despite this.

It really does give you a glow when you apply it before makeup. I used it before bed, then again in the morning after showering. My junior colleague who stayed over and I went to the department store the next day, and we both complimented each other on how radiant our skin looked!

I think it works even better when used together with the Sublimage Fluid.
