You only need a small amount, making it very efficient.
ConsThe strong smell requires you to open a window when using it. Otherwise, you might get a headache.

For older polish, you need to soak the cotton pad thoroughly and let it sit for a bit, but fresher polish comes off easily with a few swipes. I love that it's almost 100% hydrating. When I used to use Modi remover, it felt way too oily, and while it removed polish well, I had to scrub my hands thoroughly every time.
ConsThe scent is overwhelmingly strong. I'm sensitive to fragrances, but when I used Modi nail remover before, there was no acetone smell at all. This one has a truly pungent odor. While it removes polish well and the price is reasonable for the amount, I feel like I'm going to be sick from the smell every time I use it, so I'm not keen on repurchasing. They seem to have added quite a strong fragrance, but it's not enough to mask the acetone. Being acetone-based, it's unavoidable, but it dries quickly on cotton pads. For older polish, you need to let it sit for a while, but the remover dries up in the meantime.
TipFor example, if you're removing polish from your index finger, try wiping it once or twice with the unused side of the cotton pad you used for your thumb, then use a fresh pad. It works much more effectively this way.
