Pros
The application is smooth and I can definitely see an improvement in my skin texture after using it overnight!
Cons
The retinol-specific effects don't seem to be that pronounced. And it felt a bit too oily for my skin. I didn't break out or anything, but the effects weren't that great, so I think I'll try something else.

Pros
I have problematic skin with some oiliness, but I didn't experience any breakouts while using this product. I've already used 2 bottles and have been using it very well ^^

In the hot summer, it's a bit oilier. I've tried other company's products too, and this one seems a bit more oily. In the summer, I tend to use it a bit less~

While it's true that my skin can get oily in the summer, I find that using this product in the winter really helps improve my skin! It works well for me~!

The high concentration of retinol is great, as it's non-irritating. I saw results right away after using it. My skin feels firmer, and it's effective on pores and wrinkles.

Pros
As someone with combination skin and fine lines, I've been using Vitalift A for over a year. I wanted to find a serum that could better help prevent wrinkles, so I purchased Forte. The basic ingredients are the same as Vitalift A, so it's excellent at preventing moisture evaporation when used after toner or essence. I find that skincare products with silicone-based ingredients can feel stuffy, but the Vitalift series uses shea butter as the main ingredient, which I find very suitable. I didn't experience any irritation from the retinol in Forte. Applying an amount the size of a large pearl and spreading it evenly, it absorbs in about 10 minutes. It doesn't absorb super quickly, but since I only use it in the evenings and don't layer on many products, it works well for me.
Cons
The texture is a bit thick, and if over-applied, it can feel greasy and cause breakouts. In fact, after over-applying and massaging it in, I did develop a large cystic pimple the next day. The high price point is also a downside. Since the volume is small, it gets used up quickly for daily use, so I wish they would offer a larger size option.

A few years ago, I was prescribed retinol at a dermatologist and mixed it with a moisturizer, but I couldn't seem to get the dosage right, so I didn't see any effects. So I stopped using it and left it aside, then used a lower concentration one first before trying the forte version. After using the forte version consistently for about 4 weeks, I noticed the fine lines under my eyes had faded. I was so surprised, so this has become a staple in my nighttime routine. It would be great if Dakdi could come out with an even higher concentration version, not just the hospital-grade one. With consistent use, I also feel like my pores around my cheeks and under-eye area have gotten a bit smaller.

The good thing is that it's clearly visible, but there's so much sebum that something seems to be coming out... So I gave it to my mom, and she was really happy, saying it fits her face perfectly. She says it's best to mix and apply it with the cream, and if my mom likes it, then I like it too!!!!!
