First and foremost, the best thing is the generous amount you get for the price. With such a large quantity, you can comfortably use it not just on your face, but on your body too without feeling wasteful. 2. Secondly, I loved how it subtly brightens the skin tone naturally without leaving any white cast, and applies smoothly. Initially, it felt a bit heavy when pumped out, but it spread like an emulsion with great absorption. 3. Thirdly, it's great as a makeup base. It doesn't cause pilling or clumping, and allows the foundation to adhere well without any patchiness.
Cons1. I'm a bit disappointed that the ingredients aren't as skin-friendly as I'd hoped. 2. After applying the sunscreen on my face, I accidentally brushed it against my clothes and felt a slight stinging sensation. I'm not sure why this happened... 3. The fragrance is stronger compared to other sunscreens. Personally, I don't mind it, but I think it could be quite polarizing. 4. At first application, it felt very hydrating, but after a while, it became quite rich. Especially when used as a makeup base, while it allows for smooth foundation application, within an hour or two, it becomes quite oily. This might not suit those with skin types similar to mine. 5. While it applies lightly like an emulsion, it doesn't leave a fresh feeling after application. It might be fine for winter use, but for summer, it feels a bit heavy.
TipThis product might be great for those with very dry skin, or for people who aren't sensitive and like to apply sunscreen generously!

Absorbs well If I had to pick this product's standout feature, it would definitely be how well it absorbs. The pump dispenser is super convenient, and it dispenses the product cleanly. When applied, it feels like you're putting on a lightweight moisturizer. It spreads incredibly easily and lightly. It also adheres well to the skin. 2. Lightweight yet rich While it applies very lightly, it feels delightfully rich, like you're applying a nourishing oil. It gives your whole face a beautiful glow, which is perfect for those of us with super dry skin. 3. No white cast I appreciated that there's no white cast, thanks to it being a chemical sunscreen. Though chemical sunscreens have their pros and cons, just like physical sunscreens. 4. Ingredients I've heard that SPF50 sunscreens often contain a lot of harsh chemicals, but I was pleased to see that wasn't the case here.
Cons1. Portability It's definitely not something you can easily carry around. The pump design and large size make it impractical for on-the-go use. Since sunscreen needs frequent reapplication, I had to bring a different one for touch-ups. 2. Chemical sunscreen concerns I'm not sure if it's just me, but it often made my eyes sting. I'm not sure what to do when that happens. Since I have dry skin and atopic dermatitis, I think this might be better suited for body use. It's just too harsh for my eyes.
TipI think it would be great for applying sunscreen to the body - you can just pump out a generous amount and spread it easily.

Dermave's body emulsion I bought recently is amazing.. For my thin and super sensitive skin, the hydration and absorption are fantastic (this body emulsion is even better than Physiogel). When I saw the sunblock, I was curious to see how gentle it would be, so I decided to try it. It applies smoothly and even over the richest Physiogel Intensive product, it spreads cleanly without pilling. The scent is somewhat reminiscent of cucumber soap, which might be hit or miss, but I found it neutral. Unlike mineral sunscreens, there's no white cast, so if you absolutely must wear sunscreen while doing makeup, chemical sunscreens are still better. For sensitive skin, it's better suited for the body than the face (it's a face & body product). The feel and absorption are excellent. The best parts are that it's not as drying as mineral sunscreens and it comes with a pump (!) No need to awkwardly squeeze the sunscreen tube
ConsMy skin might be too sensitive because I occasionally felt itching right after application, my face looked shiny like an oil slick (see third photo), and my skin felt suffocated. Maybe it's because of the chemical sunscreen ingredients. Also, being a chemical sunscreen, it stung my eyes a bit when I blinked, as if some had gotten in. Still, it's not as irritating as some drugstore chemical sunscreens where you want to wash it off immediately. It's tolerable enough to wear for makeup if needed. Though it's gentle for a chemical sunscreen, I guess I should stick to mineral sunscreens... Even hours after application, chemical sunscreens are uncomfortable for sensitive skin. I've tried various chemical sunscreens from Anessa to Missha and Kiehl's, and while this is much better than drugstore brands and has a thinner texture than Kiehl's, it still caused some dryness - though that might be due to weather differences. Still, for my sensitive skin, it's less harsh and irritating than other chemical sunscreens, and with its generous amount, it seems cost-effective. It might be suitable for people with more resilient skin. I can't use it on my skin right now because my skin barrier is too weakened.. I absolutely don't recommend any sunscreen for extremely sensitive, redness-prone skin. It can trigger folliculitis again. Sadly, I can't use it now. I wanted to use it for my trip, but it's not possible...
TipWhile it feels gentle among chemical sunscreens, sensitive individuals should stick to mineral sunscreens. If you must wear makeup, it might be better to skip sunscreen altogether.
