The Azulene ingredient seemed to suit me well, and it seemed to help soothe the redness. The texture was like a creamy pudding, and I felt a cooling sensation when applying it. As I rolled it on, the texture became more bouncy, and after it was fully absorbed, there was hardly any residue left, which I liked.

My skin is a bit dry and has some redness due to dilated capillaries...I purchased this product hoping it would help soothe my skin and strengthen my skin barrier...It's unscented, and the skin absorption seems good, with a more moisturizing than oily feel... However, after some time, I do feel some dryness underneath, so it's best to mix in a more emollient cream or oil on top... There were 3 pore-clogging ingredients, but I didn't experience any major breakouts...

In the winter, it had a cooling effect and felt soothing, but...in the summer, it doesn't seem to have much effect...I'm disappointed, but I'm still using it by refrigerating it... I've been mixing in a drop of German chamomile, or sometimes squalane or tocopherol, into the cream...even though an occlusive layer may be needed...

I happened to use the product and it was quite nice! I had been using Azulene oil for when I needed soothing before, and these days there are a lot of products with Azulene ingredients coming out! It seems to have an excellent soothing effect. When I first applied it, there was a refreshing feeling that made me feel even more soothed. On days when my skin was really irritated or I had worn makeup for a long time, I would definitely slather on a generous amount along with a moisturizer. There were a lot of reviews saying it was drying, but since I usually apply two or three products for the final step, using this product along with a recovery cream was just enough and I didn't really feel any major dryness. (I always use a moisturizer as the final step normally) There were a lot of reviews saying it didn't absorb well, so I wondered if I should apply it as the final step, but I didn't really feel any discomfort with the absorption. After using a toner and essence, applying this cream and then a moisturizer, I was able to use it without any pilling. I used it until the entire container was finished and was fairly satisfied. I would repurchase this product!

Due to the nature of the packaging, the hygiene issue was a bit concerning. Even though I carefully wiped the spatula, having to open and close it meant I ended up using it right after opening it.

Although I didn't feel much effect when using it regularly, I saw a significant improvement when my skin was really troubled. It calmed down in just a week! It's great as a soothing product! The product contains azulene, so it's a blue-colored cream which was interesting. Even without refrigerating, it has a subtle cooling sensation.
