Pros

My skin is extremely sensitive and dehydrated. Around April-May 2019, my skin suddenly became a mess, so I completely changed my products in October after searching for a solution. My skin tends to get out of control every season change, and after a trip to the US, my moisture balance was completely disrupted, leaving my skin severely dehydrated, with clogged pores and adult acne. Since it seemed like maintaining moisture was key to breaking the vicious cycle, I switched to the Logique Aquatide line. 🦋 Texture The cleanser is a complete water-type formula. The packaging has a bubble dispenser, so the bubbles form and come out easily, which is really convenient to use. However, since it creates the bubbles so quickly, it feels a bit lightweight and lacks that bouncy, cushiony sensation. It feels quite lightweight, almost too light. 🦋 Cleansing Power The lightweight bubbles don't seem to remove makeup completely, but it works well as a daily cleanser on bare skin. 🦋 Scent & Amount The Aquatide line has a really nice scent, but this particular cleanser has a rather unpleasant, almost masculine fragrance. It's not great, and I think it could be omitted. The 200ml bottle lasts a while, as the bubble formula dispenses a good amount. 🦋 Skin Concerns I chose this because it's gentle and an enzyme cleanser, which I heard was good for exfoliation. But I didn't notice any special effects. Lately, I've been using a mild, pH-balanced gel cleanser, but I started getting gradual breakouts. Apparently, the gentle cleansers don't effectively remove excess oil for oily skin types like mine, and prolonged use can lead to more breakouts. So I decided to switch back to this product, and within a few days, my existing blemishes started clearing up, and I haven't had any new breakouts since.

Cons

👋🏻 The scent is really... I feel like it has a masculine skin-like fragrance, and having to smell it throughout the cleansing process is a bit of a turn-off for me, making me hesitant about repurchasing. 👋🏻 The price also seems a bit on the higher side, which is something to consider. 👋🏻 The foam lather doesn't have that bouncy, cushiony sensation that I prefer. I really like products with that rich, creamy texture.
