When using Carmex Cherry, the cherry scent is slightly romanticized, but this product reminds me of the memory of vomiting after drinking Vera Cherry Jubilee in my childhood. I use this instead of using menthol. Why don't they use a lemon-scented lip balm?? I like citrus.

I like to apply this lip balm before doing my makeup, and then again after completing my makeup routine. This helps keep my lips moisturized and smooth, allowing my lip tint to apply evenly and beautifully.

The product has a white ointment-like texture, which makes it difficult to apply when I'm out and about.

Many other lip balms only appear moisturized on the surface, but fail to address the underlying dryness. This one, however, is clearly different - after applying it, the dryness disappears and the moisturized feeling lasts for a long time.

Could you take a look at the photo? The tube has become tattered over time, and the red powder from the peeled printing gets everywhere. At first, I thought chili powder was coming out of my mouth! 😅 It also doesn't come off easily when it gets on your hands.
Also, when you first apply it to your lips, it leaves a white cast. But if you keep rubbing it in, it becomes transparent, so I didn't really see this as a major downside.

Other than that, I love everything about it! The product performance is so great that I'd give it 5 stars.

The tube-type packaging allows for hygienic use. I really like that I don't have to worry about the dust that sometimes sticks to stick-type or jar-type products. The best part is the feel - it's not sticky, it's moisturizing, and it doesn't feel heavy or uncomfortable on the lips. As long as it's not a powdery or flaky formula, it pairs well with my makeup products too!
The moisturizing power is around medium. Also, when I apply it before bed and sleep, it really helps exfoliate the dead skin - my lips become soft, smooth, and supple.

The scent is cherry, but it's more like the cherry scent of Vaseline lip balms rather than the stronger cherry scent of Carmex. It's not overpowering and light, which is nice. But it does tend to fade quickly. Sometimes I can also detect a slightly sour note along with the cherry scent... People who are very sensitive to scents or prone to motion sickness may find this faint sour note irritating.

This is the best lip balm I've tried, so I plan to stick with it going forward. 👍🏻 When it's on sale on Coupang or Olive Young, the price is very affordable. Incredible value! I bought 3 for around $10 on Coupang and it lasted me about 6 months.

It feels very much like applying an ointment.
I mainly used it in the evenings, and a small amount was fine, but using a lot makes it turn white and leave a white film-like residue the next day, which is disappointing.
