  Pros

  A base product that smooths out skin texture as if applying a soft-focus filter. Areas where it's applied show significantly less visible pores and wrinkles. It makes the skin look more even, if you will. It's great for spot-treating areas like cheeks, forehead, and sides of the nose before makeup to cover enlarged pores, fine lines, and uneven texture. To fully experience the blurring effect, don't just apply it haphazardly. Squeeze out a small amount onto the needed areas, then gently pat it in until it's fully absorbed into the skin. The initial oily feeling from the oil-moisture balance will be absorbed, leaving the skin surface smooth while maintaining hydration.

  Cons

  Drawbacks? There weren't any drawbacks to speak of. Many base products with blurring effects tend to dry out the skin after use, but this product impressed me. It fills in the skin surface for a matte finish while maintaining deep hydration that lasts.

  Tip

  Use small amounts on targeted areas. Rather than applying it carelessly, it's important to gently pat the product until the initial dewy moisture is fully absorbed. The blurring effect becomes apparent after this moisture has sunk in.
