Maybe because it's milk-based, there's a sour smell? After using it for a while, the scent becomes noticeable, making it difficult to use on the face. The fact that it doesn't wash off easily, as mentioned above, is both a pro and a con. It doesn't come off with regular soap, so I'm using a scrub to remove it.

It smells like spoiled milk, making me gag while applying. It pills on bare skin. It's extremely drying - I thought my skin was turning into parchment.

Even on sensitive skin, it doesn't cause irritation. However, it doesn't completely prevent blemishes from appearing.

The finish is quite powdery, so those with dry skin might find it a bit drying. Personally, I didn't have any particular complaints.

I chose this product after hearing good things about its mineral sunscreen. It really lives up to its 'milk' name - it genuinely feels like milk on the skin! Perhaps due to the mineral sunscreen, it has a slight brightening effect that gives a lovely glow. I found the scent pleasant too. Checking the ingredients on Hwahae, they're impressively gentle on the skin.

I usually only apply sunscreen, but it seems to feel less drying when I layer base makeup on top of it.

While 'matte outside, moisturized inside' is usually the gold standard, this product is more like 'matte outside, matte inside'... After applying, when you touch your skin, it feels just dry on the surface, but the eye and mouth areas feel even tighter than if you hadn't applied anything after cleansing (for reference, I use Physiogel Facial Cream). I thought since it's called a sun milk, it would be like an emulsion that's easy to apply without feeling heavy, but that's not really the case. I'm not sure why they call it a milk at all.

Although it's a mineral sunscreen, when you apply it generously, you can barely notice any white cast. There's no stinging or irritation to the eyes. Considering its low price and large volume for a sunscreen, it offers great value for money. I didn't feel any stickiness, and it leaves the skin feeling quite matte. I have sensitive skin but haven't experienced any blemishes, so I'm just using it as is. However, I probably won't repurchase.

Unfortunately, this product has many drawbacks. Even though I don't have particularly sensitive skin, after 2-3 hours of wear, I experience intense tightness and dryness. Despite seeing reviews mentioning dryness, I applied a generous layer of aloe gel underneath, but still felt like I had a stiff film on my face after a few hours, especially on days when I reapplied. The lack of oil content might be the issue, so I switched to using a horse oil cream instead of a moisturizer, which helped a bit. I wouldn't recommend this for dry skin types, but if you insist on using it, apply a rich, oily cream underneath. The application isn't great for me either - it pills a lot. You need to pat it in to help it absorb.

I bought this sunscreen after checking Hwahae reviews praising its gentle ingredients. It's my first sunscreen purchase based on those recommendations. The 100ml size is quite generous - you'll definitely need a bag to carry it around. Now I understand why most sunscreens come in 50ml, but if you apply sunscreen frequently, this product is an excellent choice.

Oily skin types won't regret buying this. It feels matte, but it's more of a soft, powdery finish which is nice. Even when you sweat, it doesn't feel unpleasant, and if it wears off, you don't feel gross. There's a slight white cast, but it's not noticeable - you won't look like a ghost. It doesn't feel suffocating, and it doesn't get greasy. Among physical sunscreens, this one is really impressive.

The product seems to have a generous amount, so I'm using it as a body lotion. Occasionally, I use small amounts for brightening my complexion.

I was worried since my complexion isn't particularly fair, and sure enough, when applied as directed, it left a white cast and made me look too pale, which I didn't like. About 6 hours after application, my face started to feel dry and dead skin cells began to appear, so you really need to be thorough with your skincare routine. Also, it keeps pilling a bit as I apply it, which is frustrating. The biggest drawback is the scent. I didn't notice at first, but after continued use, it makes me feel nauseous. The fragrance is really off-putting.

The absorbs well is thinner than a cream, almost like a soothing gel. It glides on smoothly!
