I liked the scent, which was reminiscent of chocolate. Other than that... Ugh, whenever I use this, I get cold sores and my lips become extremely rough and chapped. It's no joke... I love Espoir, but because of this product, I won't be making any more purchases from them. - ji*********Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 4, 2020
As a warm-toned gal, I'm ready to pledge my loyalty to Espoir! They really nail their color selection. The formula isn't too sticky, and it absorbs beautifully. I love that I can apply it as a full lip without it feeling heavy. Espoir is truly a master of color cosmetics - why did I only discover this now? The compact size is perfect for carrying around. (I've included both back camera and selfie shots - natural light, no other products, bare face!) I honestly can't find a single flaw. This is exactly the product I've been looking for. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedAug 23, 2020
Beautiful coral pink!! I've been using it well all year round The tint leaked from the opening once, leaving a stain on my eco bag It looks lovely when you use Mullet Over as a base and dab on the Snatched shade. I'm currently using this combination as my daily lip routine! - yj*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 19, 2020
✔️Better as a gradient than full lip It doesn't suit me well as a full lip color, but when applied as a gradient, it creates a pretty pink hue that's perfect as an accent for spring or summer looks. ✔️Vibrant color It's not a muted pink, but rather a slightly vivid pink shade. ☑️Scent It has a sweet chocolate scent that might be hit or miss for some people. ☑️Coordinates best with all-pink makeup I usually prefer coral tones, so Snatched didn't suit me at first. However, when I use 'Flower Than Elegant' as a lip base, apply Snatched over it, and finish with a pink blush, the unified pink look becomes quite fresh and wearable! Using Clinique's Melon Pop blush before applying Snatched creates a radiant spring look. I've prepared swatches of my other lip products for color comparison! (They may look similar, but hopefully it's helpful) Snatched has a much pinker tone in person than in photos. These photos were taken with an iPhone XR's default camera without any color correction. - ji*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 25, 2020
The color is beautiful! It feels like a blend of 30% red and 70% pink, and when applied to the lips, it appears as a pink-coral with orange and fluorescent undertones. I've tried various pink-coral lipsticks, but this one has a unique hue that looks vibrant yet nude enough to wear in autumn. It's a mysterious shade that balances brightness and subtlety. It tends to transfer quite a bit and doesn't seem to have great staying power. It's said to pair well with the Co*ral shade from the same line. The complementary color is described as a deep rose-red, which could serve as a great base. However, this shade itself has a medium depth, making it versatile. You could use it as a base for softer pink lips or as an accent color over lighter shades. It seems to be a highly versatile color. In the swatches, both shades are on the right side. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 28, 2020
I have a deep undertone with a touch of light undertone! Color-wise: imagine it's a bit more pink-tinted than in the photos. The shade is beautiful and it absorbs well! The matte finish unfortunately accentuates dead skin cells. Also, applying it too heavily doesn't look great - it's prettier when you spread it thinly as a base! - sk*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 28, 2020
I received this as a gift through KakaoTalk and chose the Lip Up Velvet shade that seemed to have the most wearable deep undertone among the options. While it's supposed to be a deep undertone, it doesn't suit me well... It makes my lips look like they belong to Doo Gae-ssi (a Korean celebrity known for full lips). It doesn't suit me at all... There's no shade in Espoir's Lip Up Velvet range that complements my complexion. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 26, 2020
The matte formula feels comfortable and doesn't dry out your lips. The toned-down orange-pink shade is perfect for those with a deep undertone complexion. It doesn't adhere well to the lips and feels like it's sitting on top of the skin. As someone with cool undertones, I find it too warm for my liking, so I occasionally use it as a blush instead. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 22, 2019
The initial color payoff is truly beautiful. I bought it wanting a cool coral shade, and while it felt a bit warm when applied, it's still pretty enough to be acceptable. One swipe on the wrist shows a deep coral, but when blended out, it has a slight orange tint. On the lips, thanks to your natural lip color, the orange undertone isn't as noticeable. I noticed this from the first application, but it tends to emphasize dead skin cells. It looks beautiful when first applied, but as time passes, dead skin cells become more visible, requiring touch-ups. The color starts to look messy, and reapplying seems to make it worse, with the orange tones becoming more prominent. The ingredients list also contains many questionable components, making me hesitant to use it. If I had checked the ingredients on Hwahae before buying, I might have chosen a different product. When it starts to look messy, it's better to remove it completely and reapply rather than layering more product on top. - ku*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresJul 13, 2019
I loved the light application and vivid color typical of velvet-type formulas. It absorbs well and gives a beautiful finish. As someone who talks a lot for work, I prioritize longevity. Unfortunately, this faded too quickly and developed a patchy appearance, which was disappointing. For best results, apply a tiny amount of foundation to your lips first, then lightly spread a small amount of the product. This brings out its true, beautiful color.
