Pros

Pros
I'm finally posting my Hwahae Testers review after some personal delays. I was initially shocked by the price, but after using it, I understand why it's worth it. The ingredients are great, and even though I have sensitive skin, it's gentle and kind without causing any blemishes. It's perfect to use before makeup or before bed!
Cons
While I haven't experienced any blemishes while using it, I find that for a serum, it's not as hydrating as I expected. I end up layering it twice, which means I go through the product faster than anticipated.
Tip
I've found that applying a generous amount of aloe soothing gel before the serum makes it feel more hydrating without being sticky!

Pros

Pros
The intended gentle hydration is spot-on! As a standalone product, it's decent. This product from Daewoong Pharmaceutical perfectly achieves its intended purpose. It's neither too light nor sticky, and while it may not be sufficient on its own, it smooths the skin nicely during the serum step. I noticed the brightening effects after using it consistently morning and evening for over 3 weeks (as with all skincare, consistency is key). The silky feel is pleasant, and it creates a nice dewy look at an average level. It seems particularly effective for skin types that respond well to hot spring water.
Cons
While it didn't specifically cause blemishes, it wasn't ideal for applying to areas with existing breakouts. This is likely because the oil components don't seem to help with sebum-related or small bump-type blemishes. The hot spring water can be drying, so it seems they've added oil components to help with deep dryness. It's important to check if your skin responds well to both hot spring water and natural oil ingredients! (Personally, hot spring water and natural ingredients have an average effect on my skin)
Tip
When I didn't have any blemishes, it worked well with other regular moisturizers and didn't cause any pilling. It was convenient for managing dry, bumpy skin due to its moisturizing properties.

Pros
This is my first time trying a product from this brand... It's surprisingly gentle, exceeding my expectations! The scent is quite unique - maybe tea tree? My husband says he loves the fragrance. I have sensitive skin, but I've been using it without any blemishes! After using this product, I feel like my complexion has brightened a bit, and it gives a cooling sensation when applied. I'm also satisfied with how well it absorbs.
Cons
If used alone, it might not provide enough hydration. I found it worked well when I applied essence and moisturizer after cleansing. Since it's still an unfamiliar brand, the price point seems a bit steep...

I'm one of the lucky winners of the Hwahae giveaway! First off, the scent is distinctly organic and natural... yes, it's exactly that aroma you're thinking of. What surprised me was how well it applies and absorbs!! Even if you apply a lot, there's no pilling or stickiness. It seems gentle, but I have pretty resilient skin, so... However, it worked really well for me. I often fall asleep without proper cleansing (though I'm better about it these days), which usually leads to redness flare-ups and blemishes. But with this, I didn't feel any irritation, and my skin calmed down quickly. The first photo I uploaded shows my skin right after it flared up, cleansed and with only toner and serum applied. The second photo is more recent - sorry, I fell asleep without washing my face a couple nights ago! Oh, and I'm not sure if it's because of this product, but my skin texture has become super soft.
Cons
The price? Honestly, it's not really affordable for teenagers. I think the effects are a bit underwhelming considering the cost...
Tip
It absorbs incredibly well, which I love. If you can afford it, give it a try!

I won this in the Hwahae giveaway, and I'm loving it for summer! The formula absorbs instantly when you apply and spread it. I really like the fresh finish, and the scent isn't overpowering, so it shouldn't be divisive. It's great that it doesn't cause any blemishes on my face. I haven't been using it long enough to see full results, but I find myself reaching for it again and again!
Cons

Here's my review after winning the Hwahae giveaway! This is my 100% honest opinion after using it for 2 weeks. First off, it has a healthy, earthy scent - like fresh soil. It's incredibly hydrating! There's no oiliness, just pure moisture, making it perfect for combination dehydrated skin or oily skin types. The gentle ingredients seem to agree with my skin, which usually breaks out easily with even slightly incompatible products. It didn't cause any blemishes or acne for me! (Of course, results may vary for different people)
Cons

So, I'll write honestly without any exaggeration or falsehoods. *Please note that this is my personal opinion, and reactions may vary due to differences in skin, environment, and lifestyle. It's incredibly moisturizing with excellent absorption. Even with a gentle application, it spreads well, feels light and soft with no irritation, and provides a deep hydration. It also gives a smooth, transparent glow, similar to the 'Inner Glow' effect. Personally, I liked that the scent wasn't overwhelming or musky. It doesn't run too thin or drip, but instead absorbs nicely, which I really appreciate.
Cons
I didn't notice it while applying, but after a short while, my skin started to tingle. I have combination skin and the ambient humidity was normal, so I'm not sure why it caused this sensation. Also, the initial moisturizing feeling changed to a tight, pulling sensation after a while, which was disappointing. If you have dry skin, you might feel like your skin is drying out and cracking a bit as time passes.
Tip
