However...
ConsIt stings too much when applying, even causing a tingling sensation if it gets in your eyes. I think it's because I have super sensitive skin. I never had this issue with Thayers, which is known for its witch hazel toner. The cause is unclear... As my skin becomes more sensitive, various problems keep popping up. I still have more than half left, but I'm planning to switch to something else.
TipNot recommended for those with sensitive skin

It's a large size, so I use it generously. It's perfect for toning my skin with a cotton pad right after cleansing.
ConsIt stings a bit when I apply it after removing blackheads from my nose.
TipI find it effective for tightening pores if I use a cotton pad to smooth it over my skin, then leave it on for 1-2 minutes like a nose pack before removing. That's why I've made it part of my daily morning and evening routine.

Cons▶ Causes a stinging sensation and blemishes after application ▶ Has an odd scent ▶ Later found out that witch hazel is not a beneficial ingredient ▶ It's best to avoid applying witch hazel to the skin if possible
Tip▶ 'Many people feel their skin tightening temporarily when applying toners with high witch hazel content. This is actually due to the alcohol and tannins in witch hazel causing momentary skin tension through irritation.' - Excerpt from cosmetics critic Choi Ji-hyun
