  I bought this essence to prep my skin texture before applying toner. It has a light scent that's a mix of alcohol and water, and it dries quickly.

  I'm somewhat questioning if this product is really necessary. It feels just like a lightweight toner.

  Tip

  Using a full 3-step routine of essence, toner, and emulsion might be too heavy. It's better to keep it light with just essence and emulsion, or essence and moisturizer.

  I was enchanted by the ad model (SF9's Rowoon) and bought it as a gift. Feeling I should test it even though it's for gifting, I tried it on. The texture flows like water but isn't too thin. Unlike most men's cosmetics with overpowering scents, this one has a pleasantly subtle fragrance. It's said to help with dead skin cells too, which sounds promising.

  Cons

  Since I haven't used it personally, there aren't many downsides to mention. However, the product ingredients don't seem particularly beneficial for oily skin types. Also, when giving a gift, packaging matters, and disappointingly, the case doesn't quite reflect its 57,000 won price tag.
