  One summer, my skin suddenly flared up and I couldn't figure out why. Even visits to the dermatologist didn't help much. Then I saw a YouTube video suggesting aloe vera masks to reduce skin heat, so I gave it a try. After that, my blemishes significantly decreased and my skin improved overall. These days, whenever I want to cool down my skin, I generously apply this mask and place damp cotton pads on top. It feels so refreshing on my face!

  Cons

  There's nothing particularly bad about it! Due to the nature of aloe, there's a slight feeling of residue on the skin after absorption, but it's not bothersome enough to be an issue.

  I bought this from Coupang, and it seems the packaging has changed as it looks a bit different from the Hwahae photo. I'm sure everyone knows that aloe soothing gel is great for calming the skin! This product lives up to its role as a soothing gel. While it doesn't provide long-lasting hydration, it's perfect for slathering on generously before bed to soothe your skin. The affordable price means you can use it liberally without worry, which is fantastic. After applying it to my face and sleeping, I woke up the next morning to find a blemish had come to a head! It allowed me to extract it quickly.

  Cons

  There are honestly no downsides to mention. If I find any drawbacks after trying other soothing gels and comparing them, I'll come back to update this review.

  Tip

  You all know it's even better when you keep it in the fridge and use it cool, right?

  I used this as an aloe mask twice daily for 4 days, and it balanced my skin's oil and moisture perfectly. It's also great for soothing the skin.

  Cons

  As someone with dry, super sensitive skin, I had to wash off the sticky residue after removing the mask because it wouldn't go away.

  Tip

  Rather than using it continuously, I think it's better to use it for a few days when you need to calm blemishes or soothe your skin, then take a break. During the breaks from the aloe mask, I use a modeling mask instead.

  When my skin gets bumpy due to rosacea, I apply a thick layer and place a damp cotton pad over it, which seems to soothe the skin. The cooling effect is great too, making me feel like my skin temperature is going down.

  I've tried several aloe soothing gels, including the famous Aromatica one, which actually caused blemishes for me. But this one? It's hydrating and doesn't cause any blemishes. In fact, it even helps calm existing ones down.

  Cons

  There's nothing bad to say about it. However, it might be a bit too light to use alone in winter, so you'll need to pair it with other products.

  Tip

  It's incredibly hydrating when used after Cosme Decorte's liposome serum. If you still feel dry, layer on a cream that suits your skin type.
