I decided to give this a try since it was affordable. I tested it using both my fingers and a sponge: 1. If your base is semi-matte, applying with a sponge brings out the pink beam better. 2. If your base is dewy, using your fingers works better. While the jelly texture means you don't have to worry about the product breaking, I personally found it a bit firm. When applying pressure during use, it seemed to create some pilling.
