Pros
I've used about half of it, and I'm really pleased with how it satisfies my skin's hydration needs. It doesn't run and seems to tackle deep dryness effectively. I also appreciate that it's free from harmful ingredients.
Cons
It feels a bit sticky, and that stickiness seems to linger for quite a while even after application.

Pros
I saw significant improvements in my skin texture after finishing a whole bottle of this. The consistency is runny, and once absorbed, it's not overly sticky. It effectively combats deep dryness. Suitable for use during fall and winter.
Cons
1. There was a slight burning sensation when applied to the face. 2. It might not be suitable for those who dislike sticky textures.

Pros
As a guy with oily skin, I bought this new COSRX product on recommendation from friends. I'm really pleased with how it effectively tackles deep dryness with its rich texture. Being oily-skinned, I found it works great when used together with the original pads.
Cons
Initially, there was a bit of stickiness, but once I applied cream on top, it finished with a non-sticky, hydrated feel.

The Hwahae Testers Review This product provided deep hydration for my extremely dry skin, preventing any deep dryness. It has a non-greasy, bouncy texture that absorbs well. As summer approaches, I still need to apply everything from toner to cream year-round. Despite this, some essences or serums can leave my skin feeling dehydrated in summer, but this product effectively combats that deep dryness. After applying toner, when I use this serum and gently pat it in, it has an incredibly bouncy texture. I tend to apply products generously, so I was worried this might pill or be too sticky. Surprisingly, when I layered cream on top, the stickiness disappeared, leaving my skin feeling soft and smooth! It was quite remarkable (though this might just be my experience with extremely dry skin). I highly recommend this for those with dry skin who often experience dehydration and are looking for a non-greasy serum to use even in summer. The amount of serum also feels a bit more generous compared to other products. Lastly, what I loved most is that it's fragrance-free! And I don't mean 'no artificial fragrance' - it truly has no scent or smell at all. I highly recommend this for those with sensitive noses as well! It's completely free of any fragrance whatsoever!
Cons
The dropper doesn't seem to work very well. I'm not sure if it's due to the serum's formulation or an issue with the dropper itself, but occasionally it doesn't fill up completely when squeezed. Another potential drawback, which could be a positive for some, is that this serum is truly non-greasy! However, I'd especially recommend this for those with combination dehydrated skin or those who experience increased oiliness in summer.
Tip
While you might expect it to be sticky, applying cream over this bouncy serum actually transforms the texture from elastic to velvety smooth without any pilling. My routine involved using the Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Toner, followed by this serum, and then topping it off with the Real Barrier Extreme Cream.

After using it for a full two weeks, I'm posting my final review! Thank you to The Hwahae Testers ❤ Combats deep dryness: It completely eliminates deep dryness. You can feel it filling your skin from the inside out, layer by layer. If you're concerned about deep dryness before applying matte makeup, I think this would be great to use! Hydration: I believe hydration is just as crucial as addressing deep dryness. When applying, it feels sticky and rich, like you're spreading the remaining essence from a sheet mask, as the ampoule clings to your hands and skin. But after wiping your hands and touching your face again, the surface feels surprisingly soft. I was really impressed by how it keeps the deeper layers of skin moisturized while leaving the surface feeling soft and smooth. Product: The glass packaging means you need to handle it carefully. However, I found its small size makes it convenient to carry. The dropper fills up well, so I never felt like I was getting too little product, which was great.
Cons
Honestly, since I used it with the intention of addressing deep dryness, it might be too drying for those with very dry skin. If you don't layer an emulsion or something similar on top, um... your skin might feel tight.

♥ The Hwahae Testers ♥ Usage period: One week Scent: Nearly fragrance-free Texture: Slightly sticky Skin type: Extremely dry Despite using even the most hydrating products, my skin always felt dry. After use: After a week of use, I found that once absorbed, there's no stickiness. I usually experienced deep dryness, but thanks to the hyaluronic acid, that's gone now. The 40ml size is perfect for camping trips, making it convenient to carry.
Cons
There weren't any significant downsides (from an extremely dry skin perspective). If you have oily skin, you might not like the initial stickiness. It doesn't absorb immediately and feels like it's sitting on the skin at first, but if you gently pat it in, it absorbs well and the stickiness disappears.
Tip
It's not exactly a pro tip, but mixing a drop with your foundation creates a nice, hydrated finish.

Pros
As one of The Hwahae Testers, I'm excited to share my review. The best thing about this product is that, at least for me, it didn't cause any blemishes or deep dryness at all. I usually stick to more watery formulas, so this was my first time trying something with a thicker, slightly sticky texture. It felt great applying it, as if my skin was becoming more firm and improving. Some reviews mention a burning sensation on the face, but I didn't experience that at all. I think that sensation might come from patting the product in repeatedly while waiting for it to absorb, rather than from the product itself.
Cons
The downside is definitely how long it takes to absorb. As a guy who doesn't wear makeup, it wasn't a huge issue for me, but I can see how it could be problematic for someone trying to quickly apply makeup and rush out in the morning. Another minor inconvenience was the dropper - the amount it dispenses is a bit awkward, so I often had to use it multiple times. If the bottle and dropper were a bit larger, I think it would improve the overall user experience.

I was lucky enough to be selected as one of The Hwahae Testers, so here's my review: Skin type: Extremely dry in winter, dry in summer Sensitive ✓ While the texture is initially sticky, over time it leaves your skin feeling smooth. I usually apply cream after my serum, but for testing purposes, I only layered this serum twice before going out. Despite my dry skin, I didn't experience any deep dryness at all. It really helps combat dehydration! ✓ It works wonders as a makeup base. Perhaps due to its slightly tacky texture, my makeup doesn't budge or break down even in hot weather! It seems to work even better than my usual hydrating primer, which I didn't need to use separately. Also, despite its sticky texture, there was no pilling when I applied foundation with a pore brush. ✓ My complexion has improved. I've only been using this product for two weeks since it arrived, but I can already see an improvement in my skin tone. At first, I wasn't sure if it was due to this product, but since it's the only change in my skincare routine, it must be! ✓ No blemishes. Even with my sensitive skin, I haven't experienced any irritation, which suggests it's formulated with quite gentle ingredients. I've tried about 5 different serums so far, and this one has given me the highest satisfaction!
Cons
✗ The texture changes from a watery film to sticky to clean, but it's difficult to apply other skincare products or makeup when it's in the watery film stage. This review is from winning The Hwahae Testers event~!! My skin is very dry with almost no oil production~! First off, the texture is like a runny essence. The absorption is fantastic, haha! It glides on so smoothly. However, it doesn't absorb quickly - it takes a bit of time to sink in. At first, you might think it's sticky, but there's hardly any stickiness. Instead, your skin feels plump and bouncy! And most importantly, there's absolutely zero deep dryness, I swear! For those with oily skin, this might be enough on its own in summer. I think it's a great product for anyone dealing with dehydrated skin!
Cons
From my perspective, the price is a bit steep, to be honest. Since it's not a super runny product, you might end up using more than intended.
Tip
A little goes a long way - you can easily cover your whole face! After this, I apply the Sidmool Peptide Sleeping Pack. It's a golden combination!
