When I apply this and look in the mirror, my complexion does brighten up, but I wonder if it's just temporary? Oddly enough, for me, it doesn't seem to work when applied after emulsion. I find it brightens my skin tone better when I use it before the emulsion step.

After all, diet and sleep habits are what really determine skin condition. As long as it doesn't have harmful ingredients and plays a supporting role, that's all we need. The price. I'm not sure if I'm using the right amount, but it lasts quite a while for me given the product quantity... (not a complaint, but still). It would be nice if they could lower the price a bit - just wishful thinking! After using it all up and going without it for a while, I noticed my complexion looked dull. But once I started using it again, my skin seemed to bounce back to its former radiance. You'll start to notice a gradual brightening effect on your skin. Use about a pea-sized amount at the serum stage of your routine. However, be sure to adjust the amount based on your skin's condition! Be cautious when applying if your skin is super sensitive or you're feeling tired, as it might cause irritation. It's not too rich and absorbs well. Contains fine shimmer particles that give a subtle glow when applied lightly before makeup. It's marketed as a whitening product, but I'm not sure if the brightening effect is just from the shimmer in the product or if it actually whitens the skin over time. - Hwahae UserOily SkinJan 17, 2015
I'm genuinely surprised to see some areas where my dark spots are actually fading. Turns out it contains some risky ingredients. It's also on the pricier side, in my opinion. The product volume is quite small.
