Pros
It feels like my skin is thoroughly cleansed. My makeup comes off easily and my skin feels smooth and refreshed!
Cons
It seems to be a bit too drying. I have a tendency towards dryness and it doesn't seem to be replenishing it well...

This is a Hwahae Trial Reviewer review! (6.30~7.8) I wrote this based on the notes I made in my notebook while using the product daily. (See photos) My skin type: Combination/Severe acne (cystic) and closed comedones, folliculitis, currently taking oil control medication/After cleansing, I use Bring Green Tea Tree Toner and Estrada Lotion (dermatological), Esroban ointment, and Cicacream for scarring/I only use sunscreen without makeup. - As someone with a compromised skin barrier in the U-zone, I saw effects in the T-zone where my skin barrier is healthier. In the T-zone, my sebum control remained good even during my menstrual cycle, and no new acne emerged. The deep cystic acne in my U-zone did not improve, but the new inflamed acne surprisingly calmed down quickly. However, after using the product, my existing basic skincare routine seemed to disrupt the oil-moisture balance, causing closed comedones. This issue resolved after I added more hydration. The cleansing was effective enough for me, as I only use mineral sunscreen without makeup. The lather is not abundant, but there was no major inconvenience in using it. The matte finish felt suitable for oily skin types. Personally, I found it drying, but I think it could work for combination skin in the summer. - In conclusion, the product did not have a significant effect on my severe acne. However, I have an exceptionally stubborn case, so please take that into account when referencing this review.😂

Even for my combination skin, the tightness felt more severe than expected. I think it would be quite difficult for dry skin types to use. After cleansing, the tightness was so intense that I had to significantly increase my hydration before using this product. The fragrance was also not great in my opinion. As someone who uses pure tea tree oil and doesn't mind the scents of centella and madecassoside, I found the artificial, herbal-like fragrance to be somewhat off-putting. It's as if they tried to create a natural scent but missed the mark. I would recommend those sensitive to fragrance to consider this carefully.
Tip
I would most recommend this product for oily skin types with superficial acne on the surface. While I did not see any effects, a family member of mine who has oily skin with mainly shallow acne saw great results. Those with deep, cystic acne will likely see no effects at all, and dry skin types may find it too drying to use.

I was selected for the Hwahae Trial Reviewer event and am leaving a review after using the product. First, I am a male in my early 20s with combination (?) skin that is closer to dry. And I have very sensitive skin. If I apply just any sunscreen, my face becomes light and reddish. I also sometimes get blemishes like acne. I also don't have a specific face wash that I use, and I tend to try different ones. - The scent is, well, I'm not sure how to describe it, but it has a slightly tart aroma. The scent is almost non-existent, just a slight tartness! I generally don't like using products with strong scents, but I didn't have any aversion to this one. - As a male, aside from skin lotion, the only cosmetic product I use is sunscreen when I'm outdoors. My skin is sensitive, so if I use the wrong product, I get blemishes, so when applying sunscreen, I do a double cleanse with cleansing oil and cleansing foam. I'm not sure if it's because of the double cleanse, but when using this product, the sunscreen seems to be removed thoroughly. - When lathering this product, the foam comes out nicely and densely. Compared to other products, it seems to produce a relatively abundant lather. - Recently, I hadn't been using any basic skincare products and was just going about my day, and I started getting a few blemishes. So I switched to some better skin lotions (and also took a bit of medication from a dermatologist). Using this product along with those changes, I'm not sure where the blemish improvement effect is coming from, but at least during the time I've been using this product, my blemishes haven't gotten worse, and I feel like the previous ones have improved a bit.

The downside is that since my skin is closer to dry, after washing, there is a bit of a tight, dry feeling. There is also, of course, some whitening.
