As a cat lover, I'm drawn to the design. The color is nice too. While it's called velvet, it's more on the glossy side, so it doesn't make my lips feel tight. When I tested it on the back of my hand, it felt velvety and the color payoff seemed decent. The shade looked pretty too, which I liked. However, on the lips, the color doesn't show up well, requiring multiple applications. The staying power is poor, and if your lips are even slightly dry, it emphasizes dead skin cells, clumps, and settles into lines. It also pills immediately after application. I usually tolerate most scented lip products, but this fragrance is overwhelmingly artificial and strong. It tastes unpleasant when it gets in your mouth. It reminds me of the scent of toy makeup from childhood. And it transfers like crazy! I expected it to be more matte, but it's not. The price feels high for the quality. Personally, I wouldn't buy it even if it were $5. Oh, and the color swatches on the official website don't match the actual product. Given the poor quality of this lipstick, I'd suggest you don't really need to purchase this product. It's a waste of money, but you might as well toss it or use it as a blush instead.
