There's absolutely no smell! Before the Propolis Zero was released, I tried the regular Propolis sample and it had this... terrifying saliva smell that shocked me, so I couldn't bring myself to buy the actual product. But since they came out with a scent-free version, I bought it without hesitation. It's a transparent gel-type with a yellowish tint, spreads nicely, and absorbs well!! The most important thing is the efficacy, and I didn't see any dramatic effects, to be honest... I bought it because I kept getting cystic acne on my chin as part of my PMS, and after using it diligently before bed for a month, I can say that... There's definitely a cooling sensation! A soothing feeling, I guess? But the acne didn't go away or diminish. It just didn't let them get any bigger, I suppose? It's better than not using anything, but the existing cystic acne didn't disappear just because I used it. I did experience cases where if I slathered it on the acne that was just starting to come up, it would completely prevent it. But that's not always the case, unfortunately... Some acne still managed to surface despite my early application. The reviews were so good, so I might have had unrealistically high expectations, but at the end of the day, it's still just a cosmetic product~ It's not a miracle acne-eliminating solution!! But the good thing is the texture is great and it absorbs really well.
