  I was convinced to try this product since I heard it was made by a dermatologist. I was curious, so I bought the toner, serum, and vitamin cream. But all three were just so-so, nothing special. This toner has around 10% exfoliating ingredients, as the 'scalp toner' name suggests. When I first applied it, it felt very moisturizing but also stung a bit. But the next morning when I washed my face, my skin felt so soft.

  It's sticky. I really dislike sticky cosmetics, and I started getting pimples...I don't think it's because of this, but I tried using it about 5 times and my skin just kept getting worse, so I stopped using it. My skin does feel softer, but if it keeps causing pimples, I guess it just doesn't agree with my skin...

  I definitely wouldn't recommend this for sensitive skin. But if your skin isn't too oily, this could be a good all-around formulation for you.

  I have combination skin, so I use the Dr. Different oil-control cream, but I use this product for my toner. I really like that I don't have to do separate exfoliation - I can just apply it with my hands or a cotton pad, and it absorbs into my face nicely. The volume is also generous.

  Cons

  It's a bit sticky. Or maybe I should say it becomes tacky? After applying, there's a slight residue left on my hands, but that gets resolved when I put on another cream right after, so it's not too bad.

  Typical toners have a watery texture, so when applied, the skin becomes too dry, and they are mainly used to wipe and cleanse the skin for better skin texture. However, the exfoliating toner has an essence-like texture, so when applied, it leaves the skin feeling moisturized and radiant!!
