As someone with acne-prone combination skin, I was looking for a cleansing foam that would remove all residue thoroughly during makeup removal. However, I didn't want a product that would be too drying and squeaky clean. This cleanser is just perfect - it has a very gentle formula that cleanses my skin comfortably. I was able to easily purchase it from Olive Young.
ConsAs a rinse-off cleansing product, there's nothing disappointing about it. After cleansing, my skin is left moisturized without any dryness. And unlike acidic cleansing foams, there's no residue left behind, leaving my skin refreshed.
TipFirst Cleanse: Put the gentle Bioderma cleansing water (pink bottle) in a Daiso foaming pump and gently massage it onto your skin, then rinse with water. (Do not wipe with cotton pads) Second Cleanse: Use the Lagom foam cleanser, massage it onto your skin, then rinse. A non-irritating routine for combination skin 👍👍👍👍 (For eye makeup remover, I recommend the Etude House mascara cleaner. The plastic wand applicator applies it along the lash line just like a mascara wand, so no cotton pads are needed, and it removes makeup gently and thoroughly.)

The rough dead skin and impurities were also thoroughly washed away, so I couldn't help but be very satisfied in many ways!
Cons❌ Disappointing point The lather didn't come out much, which was a bit disappointing. I guess it's because it's mildly acidic.

But this cleanser effectively removes excess dead skin without being too harsh, and the creamy lather feels soft and airy. The finish is not drying at all, but leaves my skin feeling smooth and supple. The scent is a comforting blend of calendula and milky herbs, which makes cleansing a relaxing experience. I'm very satisfied with this product!
ConsThere were no breakouts at all, and I wouldn't say there are any specific skin types this product doesn't suit. However, if you prefer a squeaky-clean cleansing sensation, this may not be the ideal choice for you. Just something to keep in mind!
TipI also used the accompanying brush, and found it to be quite effective for daily exfoliation. I recommend applying the right amount of product, working it into a dense lather with water, and gently massaging it onto the skin.

But ever since I started using this product, I no longer experience those issues and I'm very satisfied with it.👍 I don't usually expect much cleansing power from mild products, but the Lagom Celeb pH Foam Cleanser has great cleansing abilities as well! I first use a cleansing milk to remove my makeup, then follow up with this foam cleanser for the second cleanse. Even when I wipe my face with a toner pad afterwards, there's nothing left behind.👍 The foam is soft and rich, so it feels very gentle and nourishing during cleansing.🧏🏻♀️ I didn't expect much moisture from a cleansing product, but this one leaves my skin feeling nicely hydrated after use, which I'm really pleased about.💦
ConsSince this product has some exfoliating effects, those with thinner skin may want to use it only 2-3 times a week.
TipI worked the product into a rich, creamy lather between my palms before gently massaging it onto my face.🐣

Cleansing Power I don't usually wear a lot of makeup, so I couldn't fully test the cleansing power, but after using a mineral sunscreen, I only did a single cleanse with the Ragom Cleansing Foam and didn't experience any breakouts or excessive oil buildup on my nose! The silicone cleansing brush that was included was also surprisingly gentle. I tend to have a lot of oil buildup on my nose, so I use a cleanser there in the morning as well, and it didn't feel irritating at all. 2. Moisturizing Power Since it's slightly acidic, there was noticeably less tightness after cleansing compared to my usual Dodok Cleanser. It felt less drying overall. 3. Fragrance The fragrance was initially reminiscent of a classic 'dad cologne' scent, but it evolved to a more herbal, earthy aroma as I used it. Those sensitive to fragrance may find it bothersome, though.
ConsThe cleansing brush holder is located right in the center of the back of the product. When you insert your fingers, it causes the center to shift, so you end up using it at a slightly tilted angle. However, this may actually require less effort and allow for a gentler cleansing experience.

Skin Type: Combination skin with only the T-zone being oily, with a few scattered acne on the entire face Cleansing Power: Cleansing power is the most important factor in a foam cleanser, and although I didn't have high expectations for the mild ingredients, it turned out to be much better than expected! After applying foundation, eyebrows, eyeliner, eyeshadow, and tint, the tint stain remained after cleansing once with the foam, but the rest was completely removed. After cleansing twice, the tint stain became lighter but didn't completely come off. However, when cleansing my made-up face, it was completely removed after just two rounds of the foam cleanser. I usually remove my eyes and lips with a lip and eye remover, so I wasn't too concerned about that. Texture: There wasn't much difference from other cleansing foams, it was just a regular cleansing foam texture, and the foaming was just right. I made the foam by rubbing it in my hands, and it wasn't too little or too much. If you prefer a thicker, creamier foam, you may find it a bit lacking (but you can use a foaming net or container to get more foam!). Since it's a mildly acidic cleansing foam, it does feel a bit slippery after rinsing with water, but it's not a concern since it cleanses thoroughly. Ingredients: I checked the ingredients on the Hwahae app and was relieved to find that it's a relatively mild and good product, so I used it with confidence.
ConsThe only downside is that as it's a mildly acidic cleansing foam, the finish may feel a bit slippery, which could be a pro or con depending on personal preference.

Especially with the added Himalayan salt, there's no irritation at all, and it's helpful for the sensitive, troubled skin I've been getting due to wearing masks. This sets it apart from other mild acidic foams. I recommend everyone try it! (Highly recommended for sensitive, dry, troubled, acne-prone skin!) 🔸️Moisture 5/5 Lagom is really pushing their moisturizing power, and even though I've been using mild acidic cleansers before, I might not have noticed the difference. But I was using a regular foam cleanser that was too stripping, and after switching to Lagom, I could really feel the difference in moisture after cleansing and skincare. The natural moisturizing ingredients keep the skin from drying out and keep it supple. 🔸️Cleansing Power 4.5/5 (Removes Fine Dust) I think this is one of Lagom's strengths. Realistically, no single cleanser can remove all makeup and impurities, so I took off 0.5 points. But Lagom has completed clinical trials for fine dust cleansing, so it's an excellent product for this time of year! 🔸️Foaming 5/5 A little goes a long way to create rich, soft lather, which is great for the cleansing experience.
ConsThere's not much I'm really disappointed about, but: 🔹️Fragrance The natural, botanical fragrance that's typical of gentle products. However❗ Since this is a rinse-off cleanser, the fragrance isn't a big deal in my opinion. 🔹️Limonene, Linalool These are naturally derived ingredients, and there's just a tiny bit, but since they're potential allergens, I wonder if they were really necessary.
TipI used the cleansing brush you sent along about 2 times a week, and it's so gentle and soft, I think it would be great for deep cleansing and blackhead removal, even for those with sensitive or weak skin.

I prefer products that are effective at cleansing yet still leave my skin moisturized. Using this foam cleanser, I found the best things were: moisture retention after cleansing, no breakouts, no tightness, effective removal of impurities, and no oily residue! Oh, and they also included a sponge, which helps create a rich lather and thoroughly cleanses even the most detailed areas, putting less stress on the skin.
ConsThe only downside is that it doesn't completely remove all sebum. Overall, though, it seems to be a satisfactory product!
TipMildly acidic products often don't completely remove makeup after cleansing. That's why double cleansing or using them alone for no-makeup days is common. This product, however, is a gentle, mildly acidic cleanser that helps balance the skin's pH and aids in managing dead skin cells. Since I don't wear much makeup, this cleansing product was a good fit for me. I also used to really like a salt-based foam cleanser from a different brand that effectively removed T-zone sebum. This one contains Himalayan crystal mineral salt and camellia extract, which also help care for the skin and exfoliate. In summary, I think this is an excellent foam cleanser for combination, sensitive skin types!

Even though I have sensitive skin, I can use it comfortably. Also, there is no tightness after washing, and the cleansing pad that came with it cleanses my skin without any irritation.
ConsThe downside is that the smell was not great for me personally. It wasn't an overpowering smell, but it had a somewhat adhesive-like scent, which I found disappointing.

Trial Reviewers' reviews undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsThe Hwahae Trial Reviewer is here!~~ The foam itself is gentle, so it suits me well as someone with sensitive and troubled skin. It seems to help with exfoliation and softening, possibly due to the salt ingredients. What's more, this is the first time I've used a cleansing pad, and contrary to my worries about my sensitive skin, my skin feels smoother and more deeply cleansed, so I'm getting fewer breakouts.
ConsIf you just use the foam alone, it doesn't lather as much as regular foams, so those who like a really bubbly feeling may find it a bit slick. However, it's good that it can be used even on sensitive skin. It's gentle on the skin without any irritation. There are two questionable ingredients that bother me a bit^^;
TipIf you apply the foam to the pad and roll it all over your face, then lightly dampen the pad and roll it again, the foam will lather better and your skin will feel much smoother.
