The scent itself is quite nice.
ConsWhile the fragrance is pleasant, its longevity might be considered a drawback, ironically. Like charcoal's absorption power, once used, the scent lingers in the bathroom longer than any other product. The texture is also slightly different compared to others, with a slime-like viscosity. When you first scoop it out and apply it to your body, and as you're rolling it around, it tends to splatter a bit unnoticeably. Later, you'll find small splatters stuck to the walls or floor. It's as if it's showing off its absorption power by clinging everywhere. At least it's black, making it visible and easier to clean up. Anyway, I remember struggling to use it up.
TipAmong the Tree Hut scrubs I'd recommend, Sun Kissed Sands had a subtle, beautiful, and healing scent. I'm not sure if it's still available though.

The scent is a mix of a subtle minty freshness and a zesty aroma. Plus, it's great that the product barely changes even when water gets in!
ConsIt's a bit disappointing that it doesn't come with a spatula, and there are quite a few ingredients to be cautious about.

The scent is pleasant, and it leaves my skin much softer and more hydrated. Knowing I need to dissolve the scrub makes me feel like I'm giving my body a thorough massage. I'm planning to use it after waxing.
ConsThe scrub particles dissolve rather slowly, so it takes a bit more time to use. Since it's not in a tube, I'm slightly concerned about hygiene. It's also a bit tricky to figure out how much product to use each time.

It has a fresh, sweet scent that reminds me of orange and ginger. I'm glad it doesn't smell like orange-flavored cold medicine. Treehut scrubs generally have strong scents, but this one was different from what I expected. It's best to smell it in person before buying. - The bottle is plastic, so no worries about breakage. Some other products come in glass bottles, but this plastic one gives peace of mind. - The texture is thick, so it doesn't drip. It's like sand mixed with shampoo? Easy to scoop out a good amount at once. - Doesn't sting on cuts. Salt scrubs can be really painful on wounds, but this sugar-based one doesn't hurt, which is great. I use this scrub when I have cuts on my body. - Rinses off well. It washes away quickly with water, leaving skin squeaky clean. The granules rinse off easily too, which is a plus.
Cons- The scrub particles are large and can be painful. After use, skin feels red and hot, like it's been scrubbed with a rough washcloth. The granules are too big to apply directly. Even when using the same pressure as other scrubs, Treehut's particles feel larger. - Requires using a large amount at once. The scrub dissolves easily with just the moisture on your body, so you end up with nothing left on your hands while applying. You need to keep scooping more, which means using a lot per session. - Worry about it dissolving in the container if your hands are wet when scooping. Using a regular spoon doesn't get enough product, and it all melts away inconveniently. Scooping more leads to spillage... Overall, it's a strangely uncomfortable user experience. - It's drying. I used to use scrubs with oil, but this product is much more drying. Without applying a separate oil, dead skin cells turn white and skin feels tight. Those with dry skin need to moisturize heavily afterwards. I thought using more might make it more hydrating, but it's better to just apply oil separately.
TipIf you have dry skin, it's better to moisturize separately. Using more product doesn't make it more hydrating. It's an average product - use it if you have it, but don't go out of your way to buy it.

Slightly reminiscent of a fresh toothpaste smell ✔️Texture is similar to a typical sugar scrub! 👍🏻What I liked: - Personally, I noticed a significant reduction in those pesky little bumps on my skin! (I had a lot on my thighs and upper arms - it wasn't as noticeable visually, but when touched, it felt quite rough.) - The product remained stable. (Usually, for non-tube packaging, you'd use a spatula, but I was lazy and just scooped it out with my hands. Despite this, the scrub particles didn't dissolve or change much.) - It rolls smoothly on the skin. After warming up your body (not with cold water), apply it lightly to your skin and wait for 1-2 minutes. (I brush my teeth during this time.) The sugar will melt slightly due to your body heat, allowing you to exfoliate without irritation. - Hydration after scrubbing. If you shower with hot water, you know how dry your skin can get afterwards. Using this product reduces that intense dryness feeling. It also leaves your skin feeling much softer. - Great value for money. You can buy it for just over 10,000 won at certain stores. I think it's a fantastic deal considering the effects and the price. One tub seems to last about two months. I was so satisfied with this product that I've already repurchased a new one!
Cons👎🏻What could be improved: - Lack of a spatula It didn't bother me much, but I know many people prefer using a spatula. However, I heard a tip that you can easily use a spoon from certain brands as an alternative! - Ingredients ㅠㅜ It contains 3 out of 20 caution ingredients ㅠㅠ Also, there are 3 potential allergens. So it's not the safest product to use ㅠㅠ
Tip🍯If you have sensitive skin, check if it contains any ingredients you're allergic to or that cause blemishes. (I keep a favorites list or memo of caution ingredients from products that have caused me issues, which I refer to when buying cosmetics.) 🍯After wetting your body with warm water, apply the scrub lightly and wait. (I brush my teeth during this time!) The scrub will melt slightly, then gently roll it with wet hands. 🍯Although the scrub provides some hydration, it's not long-lasting. So using a body emulsion afterwards is a must! I recommend using a body emulsion regardless of your skin type!!! 🍯Tips summary: - Check for caution ingredients! (I didn't have any allergic reactions) - Wait after applying the scrub to your skin!!!! Use warm water instead of cold! Roll gently!! Don't apply too much pressure when rolling! - Always use a body emulsion afterwards

After exfoliating, it doesn't completely disappear, but it leaves your skin feeling slightly smooth. If you're a bit sensitive to fragrances, I'd recommend giving this one a try!
ConsBe careful not to scrub too hard as it might cause irritation. Start by gently massaging it onto slightly damp skin, and once you feel it's dissolved a bit, rinse it off with water.

The others felt too artificial. I always use it until the scrub particles dissolve, and when I touch my skin after rinsing, it feels incredibly soft! As my first-ever body scrub product, I'm quite satisfied.
ConsThe particles are quite large, so if you scrub too hard, it might be a bit uncomfortable!
TipIf you warm up your body with hot water first, the particles dissolve quickly. Also, it's easier to control the amount of scrub when using warm water.

So I went for this one. It has a sweet, woody scent. The exfoliating particles are on the larger side.
ConsIt can be quite harsh if used with little water. Those with sensitive skin should definitely use it with plenty of water. After use, the skin might feel a bit smoother... However, it's probably not ideal for use on waxed areas.

However, I was pleasantly surprised by its sweet and mild aroma. A little goes a long way for full-body use, and I especially appreciated that the exfoliating particles weren't irritating. I was amazed at how soft my skin felt immediately after use!
ConsIt doesn't come with a spatula, so I've been transferring small amounts into an empty container for use.

I was concerned that a long-lasting sweet fragrance might give me a headache, but this one has a more neutral scent. Like other Tree Hut products, it starts with coarse sugar particles that gradually dissolve as you scrub, which I find great. Another advantage is that it rinses off easily with water.
ConsIt's a bit concerning that there's no spatula included, so you have to use your hands directly. That's the only issue. Oh, after purchasing, I noticed some potentially problematic ingredients, which made me a bit uneasy. However, I've been using it for over a month now, and it's worked well for me. While it does feel refreshing when applied, I'm not sure if it dramatically reduces dead skin cells.
