But the product quality was really good.
So it's not a downside, just a point to consider ㅎㅎㅎ

I bought this product during the membership day event.
I had been eyeing it for a while, but it seemed a bit too expensive for a soap...;;
The results are great!!! I really like it ㅎㅎㅎ
The scent is like charcoal..? Or something like that, but it's a scent I prefer.
It feels like it's cleaning my pores too.
I heard it's also good for absorbing fine dust particles.
After using it, I found it was also good for blackheads!

I've been using this for 3 months now. My skin type is combination - oily T-zone with no moisture, and my U-zone is headed towards severely dry. I had been struggling with facial acne since last winter, and started this soap around the time I was receiving dermatological treatment for it.

Truthfully, there aren't any major downsides to this soap for my skin, so I was going to enthusiastically recommend it and even applied to be a 'Hwahae Trial Reviewer'... but then I realized there are quite a few potential allergens in the ingredients. :( 

The only real disappointment is that I can't easily recommend this to others due to the risk factors.

Cleansing Power: ★★★★★
I use Estée Lauder Double Wear as my foundation. I used to do a two-step cleansing routine - first with Bioderma Sensibio Water, then this soap for face washing. Lately, I've been skipping the first step and just using the soap alone.
The difference between the two cleansing methods is negligible, which shows how powerful the soap's cleansing ability is.
When I used to wash my face with a deep cleansing foam, I would experience tightness and exaggerated flakiness over time. But I've never had those issues since using this soap.

Fragrance: ★★★★★
The fragrance is very subtle, almost unscented. I'm quite sensitive to fragrances, and even good ones can be off-putting if they're too strong. But this has a very gentle, musky scent that I found pleasant to use.

Price: ★★★★
I bought it for the retail price of 12,000 won. At first, I thought it was a bit expensive, but now that I've been using it for 3 months, I think the price is reasonable. I've used about half the bar so far. Given how effective it is, I don't feel the price is too high at all!

Other Effects
- Acne: I started using this soap around the same time I was receiving dermatological treatment for my acne, so it's hard to accurately assess its effects on that.
- Exfoliation: I tend to have a lot of flakiness, and the cleansing foams I used before required me to do additional exfoliation every 2-3 days. But with this soap, I no longer need to do that. A steam session at the bathhouse every 2 weeks is enough to take care of my flakiness.
